Questions & Answers

How did the country of origin come to be?

I did not know until I got the unit in my hands that it was made in China. Overall, I think it's a good product that is reliable and well made. It would have been better if the product was made in the United States

Do you have a Glock 19 that fits this?

Replace your Holosun 507c with a Holosun 507c. Rifles are intended to use the 510c. My Glock 17 is outfitted with a 507c v2 -- I personally own one. It is also compatible with Trijicon RMR footprints.

Is it the case that you simply leave this in the sun to recharge the battery when it needs to be recharged?

A cr2032 battery, not a rechargeable one, is used in this device. A solar panel is just an upgrade to your battery to ensure you do not waste power.

Does this latest model come with a warranty?

The RMR and Vortex dots are beaten by this
5/5

It has the best value of any red dot in the market. There were a few red dots, as well as a few RMRs. After I solved the dimming issue with an antiflicker plate, I fell in love with the RMR. Vortex dots may not be sexy, but they surely work well. It would have been easy to punch a penny out of 25 yards. However, this new Holosun is better than all of them. I can't believe that it's almost half the price and it's higher-end than its competitors

Perfect compatibility with the BUIS that came with my B&W. The GHM9 is the transcription. Although it was hard to get the up down exact, the left to right adjustment worked. Despite the shake to wake feature, it still holds true to the "Go Gun" tag. The button does not need to be pressed to turn this The last thing you want in a stressful situation is to have to turn one on when you need it most. When you take it out of the bag, it will come to life and you will be ready to go. In addition to auto-dimming I also like the multi-tap feature the RMR and Vortex did not offer. Once enabled you will see a noticeable and immediate difference between darkened areas and brighter ones. well outside. By holding down the + button for three seconds, you can disable the feature. Ideally, you would use this technique when your target is outside in an area that is brightly illuminated and you are in a shaded environment. When the reticle is pointed at the sun, you will still see it when using the higher brightness settings. will not lose your dot if the area is very bright. Additionally, the reticle options are very well thought out. The 2 moa dot will help you plink pretty far down range, while the larger 65 moa reticle will give you fast acquisition at a There is definitely a place for both of them. There was no option for more than one RMR or Vortex dot. *Because of its battery life, the phone is supposed to last for days. Since I haven't had it long enough to test it, all testing has confirmed you won't need to change the battery for years. The grip does come with a spare battery tray, so if it has a storage compartment, you can keep the included torx tool and spare battery on hand in case of failure. Solars are reassuring, especially with the feature of being powered by the sun. If the battery dies while you are in the field or on a mission, what are you going to do? Regardless of the environment, you will still be able to see the dot if the sun is shining or ambient light is ample. You are still able to use it if the SHTF, or if batteries are no longer available. Man, you must understand the value. There is no reason to think twice about it. A MRO or RMR costs half of what an MRO does. Features are being added. It is designed to be more rugged. A torture test at Alamaba Arsenal included dumping water on it, throwing it 20ft into the air and letting it fall to the ground, freezing it in ice, beating it, and shooting it with a shotgun - it still held a Additionally, the quick release mount allows for a perfect BUIS measurement and it saves you $150 if you were going to run other dots. The first time I installed it, it fit a little loose. The mount clamped down hard against my thighs with the force of an Amazonian. I was using the included tool to tighten the mount one turn. Now it is really solid and is easy to release using the handy latch keep. I am in awe of the picture. With its thin profile sides and large viewing window, it gives you a naturally composed feel that doesn't leave you chasing the dot. It does not produce the toilet paper tube effect or a black glob in the corner as the Sparc ARs do. The frame of a boy's eyes is barely visible when his eyes are open. In your field of view, you can only see a dot and everything else. Next time I build a Scorpion, I will likely buy another one. There is no way anyone can outdo this optic for the price.

The zero won't happen
3/5

The investment is a total waste of money. Optics don't have much of a support line. You do not have to do anything after you purchase. Hence, if it isn't working, then you can send it back and get another one as long as it is within the 'Their' timeline. The only thing they could offer me was a crummy phone. I'm out 270 bucks. I guess I'm playing a joke on you. Regardless, I was forced to wait quite a while before I could Zero my account. You can pretty much live with a Vortex, they have a great Help line, and they have a Lifetime Warranty. If they don't take it back, then I won't buy a Holosun in the future, and I'll tell everyone I know not to.

reflex sight on the market at an affordable price
5/5

Here's my only negative point and what I want to disclaim. In my experience, the first optic I ordered from this seller was defective. It would not project in normal daylight without the battery and would work only under Added to that, there was excessive glue, black marks in the finish, and at worst, you could see the square LED housing outline reflecting off the glass which was extremely In fact, these guys provide me with the best customer service I have ever seen from any firm that I have ever dealt A tracking number for the new optic was emailed to me less than four hours after I sent them detailed pictures of my issues. My new optic was delivered 3 days later along with a return label for my old optic. I am impressed by the quality of the new optic. This is the best reflex sight I have seen at any price point that I have looked at. I have never seen such a sharp reticle on a reflex sight. The reticle lights up enough, and there is no I can honestly say it is one of the best purchases I have ever made due to the quality of the product and the excellent customer service. My final decision was to go with this optic instead of the eotech one I was considering. I personally believe it is better than the Eotech, and is half the price.
The Eotech reflex sight is one of the most technologically advanced on the market. So far, I have always been able to use the auto-on feature. Even if you drop the included torx tool on the table next to it, the sensor will detect The sight will still function without the battery, provided there is some form of ambient lighting. This does not require a direct sunlight situation or being outside. It works well and adjusts both automatically and quickly. However, I find the auto brightness to be a bit too dim for my liking. My only wish is that it is brighter in all conditions by about 10%. I will admit, the only sight I have ever liked more is the trijicon ACOG, but that's obviously If you are interested in reading this, I highly recommend it. Please note that if you are considering picking up this for a scorpion EVO, I am sure it would be a good fit. If you're still thinking of keeping it a pistol, I'd probably pick a smaller optical device, but if you're thinking of going SBR route, this will be more than adequate. (I've attached a photo of this optic mounted on the EVO. ).

An awesome sight to behold
5/5

Here are the details! In a YouTube video, this model was being tested and rated. At the end he conducted what he calls a bottle test on it, which if passed, would mean it was OK. Because he was so impressed by it, he was sure he would get one for himself if it did (which it did). In that case, he takes this full bottle of water (16). I am in 9th grade. One ounce. In the meantime, he begins to beat the sight hard in an attempt to keep himself alive. There is a long pause before he continues. Would two minutes be sufficient? did not budge an inch and held its The torture test that was conducted on him didn't seem to me like any other I've seen. I was convinced to buy the book after reading the review. As a matter of opinion, I think it is superior to my Eotech. I love that it uses solar power to conserve battery and wakes up automatically when a movement is detected. The video is essential to watching. The perfect gift that is sure to impress. Take advantage of this fantastic deal!.
