Questions & Answers

Is there a screw included in the box?

No, it does not, in my opinion. The screw that secures the stock sight, on the other hand, is in perfect working order.

Is there a screw included?

The screw does not seem to be included. The following is taken from the packaging: "Use existing hardware to attach the TRUGLO sight."

Is it possible to use it with a Ruger PC Carbine?

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the subject. We used a Mark 2 22/45 to mount it.

Is this something you guys put on with glue or something else?

No, there is no need for glue because it is a direct fit. It can hold 900 rounds and there is no wiggle.

Selected User Reviews For TRUGLO Ruger Mark II/III Fiber Optic Front Sight

This feature is not available on Ruger 22/45 LITE models
3/5

On a Ruger 22/45 LITE, this sight was installed. Even in low light, it's a very bright sight picture that looks great, but it's far too tall. At 7 yards, even with the rear sight fully adjusted, it still shoots about 2" low. The image below compares a custom sight to a stock sight. UPDATE 1- Below are some comparison photos between this, the stock sight, and the correct HiViz sight for the LITE version from 2016. The Truglo is a much brighter and better-quality sight, but it isn't compatible with the 22/45 LITE. This sight is great if you have a standard 22/45 or Mark 3, but if you have a LITE model, you should get the HiViz RG2245LLW01. Because this isn't mentioned in the description, I gave it three stars.

This is a nice touch
5/5

On my new Browning Buck Mark micro bull barrel pistol, I put this sight in place. To begin, it is extremely easy to set up. If you take your time, you should be able to remove the old one and replace it in under a minute. Second, it is much more visible than the pistol's original black front sight. Although it is primarily advertised for Ruger pistols, it is a perfect fit for the Browning Buck Mark.

It really works
5/5

Visibility is important. Accurate. This front sight is too high and inaccurate with a Ruger Mark IV, according to another reviewer. NOT TRUEbr>br>I strongly disagree with that statement and am concerned that people are replacing front sights on their weapons without first learning how to adjust the rear sight. Yes, this initially put my rounds lower on the target than with the stock sights, but a few turns on the rear sight to adjust up/down got my rounds right on target and was incredibly simple. This new front sight proved to be far superior to the stock sight, and it was extremely accurate. The green optic is easy to notice with the naked eye and functions flawlessly. Make sure there's plenty of locktite on the screw to keep it in place, and you should be fine.

There are some caveats to this excellent fiber optic front sight
5/5

This front sight was purchased for a Ruger MK III 22/45 Threaded (4. 25 inch) rifle. Target sights on a 5" bull barrel). I was aware that the fiber optic sight post would be narrower than the stock front sight post, and that this would result in a "sloppier" sight picture when used with the factory rear sight blade (. A notch that is 125" wide. That's not ideal for small groups, so I purchased a Ruger factory replacement rear sight blade for the Mark II Target 10" Bull Barrel (. 090" wide notch (at the time of writing, not available on Amazon). This produced a super-tight sight picture, similar to the factory pairing, but with the added benefit of a bright fiber optic to draw the eye in. It's now ideal for competition shooting and closely resembles my Q5 Match's sight picture.

Great deal, and it only took a few minutes to see a noticeable difference
4/5

a fantastic offer - It looked great right out of the box and only took a few seconds to set up. Mark IV Bull Barrel has made a huge difference in my tired eyes. There is no need to change the rear or make any adjustments (at least not for me). This motivates me to save for a red dot, and it's a great game to play while I'm constructing my piggy bank. I might not have to go any further if I keep hitting what I'm pointing at. Mark IV Bull Barrel - br>br>Mark IV Bull Barrel - br>br>Mark IV Bull Barrel - br It's as if it's made for each other. Because the old sight had lines where it sat, this one does not match the lines of the pistol perfectly - When I have everything apart again, I'll try one of the blue pens to see if I can improve the appearance.

It's alright, but not outstanding
4/5

It's alright, but not outstanding.
1- It's made of rubber.
2- Fiber optics have a diameter of. 060, which is a little small in my opinion.
3- There is only one colored fiber optic included. br>It fits my buckmark and is a significant improvement over the original sight, but I think I'll return it and use the extra duckets to get the Hi-Tech. (It's a metal model, and it's. 080 with a variety of colored optics )br>br>UPDATE: (br>br>UPDATE: (br>br>UPDATE: ( I placed an order for the Hi-Fi I went to see the sights and was disappointed. I returned the Hi-Def because the optics were dull in comparison to this one. The TruGlo was saved by Viz. It was much easier to see because the scene was much brighter. I gave it a four because it should have been made of metal.

It does what it's supposed to do, but it's not a top-of-the-line piece of gear
3/5

I'm giving this an honest, fair, and non-biased review. There is good and bad in this review, so keep that in mind. One of my biggest complaints was that the hole drilled for the f/o tube was not centered on either sight I received (I got two because the first one came without a f/o tube at all), so I had to use the one with the most center hole, which was also the first one without a tube. Then carefully drill it into the center, then carefully reinstall the f/o tube from the replacement, also the coating on the aluminum base of the sight is cheaply applied and will scratch very easily, so baby it and you should be fine, next it doesn't match the profile of the factory sight for the mk2, it's shorter by 1/8 inch and protrudes slightly over the tapered end of my mk2, now that being said and noted, I needed to combine two sights to make Overall, it appears to be functional, so I'll keep it and return the damaged one as promised.

Works for a Single Seven (with some additional effort)
4/5

I purchased this for my Single Seven (presumably it will also work on a Single Six), as I only needed the front sight (rather than a front and rear). The gun's sight screw is too long, but it fits perfectly. Because the base is thinner than the post (which is the same height), the screw bottoms out before the sight can be tightened. I had to grind the screw down to make it shorter, and it's unlikely that the original front sight will fit now. Not that I have any plans to do so. Compared to the stock sight, the fiberoptic is much finer and easier to see. It results in a much clearer visual image.
