Questions & Answers

Would anyone know the difference between the Tru Glow fiber optic system and the Tru Glo-- Would you mind translating this into Dot ?

There is no home defense version of this game to my knowledge, but judging by the descriptions and fiber dimension, they seem to be very similar. This marketing angle seems to be quite different. This is what I use on my 18-inch laptop. A 20" barreled maverick 88 will be the perfect match for this. I already have a 5" maverick 88.

Who makes it? Where do they make it?

The ones I got are now made in China. Though I am not sure if all of them are, I believe my first couple came from the Midwest. Make sure I have one on my shirt I have no problems with under. I put two of the normal shottys on the dual barrel SXS barrels, because they were not designed for that application, but I did it for fun. The shottys did not move very much because there were no bead on the sides. Although they do work, China will be MONTHS away until this gets done.

Upon purchase of my shotgun, I discovered the bead had been lost. What is the purpose of a bead in order to keep this ?

My bead fits snugly for my 12 gauge, so it wouldn't move easily if bumped, but it would be possible with a bumped bead. It does provide a bit of stability and alignment assistance. The 12 Ga. bullet is the most common size. Although the 20 Ga could work in some cases, it won't work in others. There is no such device in my possession.

How well does this fit on Winchester ?

There's no rib on this barrel, so it will fit most shotgun barrels in either 12 or 20 gauge.

In the title it says it fits my Mossberg Maverick 88, 12 gauge, 18" barrel. I've ribbed) the Verify that you have cleared your weapon and that you have no ammunition loaded by following the instructions on the package. Make sure you check again after you check. There is nothing more snug fitting than this Make sure you center your new sight before securing it. There is a notch on the front of the sight where the bead sets to help you secure it. Click the button below to add the Precision Pro 300 Round Sight to your wish list. As I installed mine, I had to move the bead closer to the notch than what was recommended. A metal hammer or metal punch should not be used to move this sight as they are likely to scratch the A small nylon hammer was used to tap the black plastic part of the Tru Glo sight forward by lightly tapping it on the Make sure to not hit the fiber optical element, it is fragile. I was able to do this without issue. It may take you a couple of tries, but once you get it, you'll have no problems. Remember to keep a firm grip on the attachment/ view when you install it. As soon as you turn it all the way on, this thing goes "spring loaded!" If you do not sit in the seat correctly, it WILL not launch. If you want to know, ask me. In any case, I am extremely pleased with this site. I am much happier now than I was using the brass bead, and my sight acquisition is significantly better. It was the green optic I went with instead of the red. I like the red one since my eye is more sensitive to a green color, and it also contrasts better with the red "bulls eye" on the targets at the range when I am exercising/practicing. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide what works for you. It is my hope that at least one person found this helpful, so be safe and take your time! Tell your liberal friends you installed an accessory to your gun on your own and saved some money by doing so! Always be safe, calm, and aim for the stars! I pray God's blessings on all of you!.

An easy upgrade at an affordable price! It takes two to tango Item No
4/5

12 in Dot II It was a gamble to buy 20 Gauge Sight. One review said that it could not handle the recoil. . . and that it flew off of the shotgun when fired. I noticed that my hat didn't go all the way on when I snapped it on, although it felt like it did it simply did not go all the way on as it appeared to. The number of attendees was approximately 100. I felt like there was a half millimeter. . . to a millimeter gap between the back and front, even though it felt like it fit Thus, I tapped BENTLY and slowly against the barrel with a flat tip punch and a SMALL hammer several times until it snugged up and fitted flush. Perhaps other reviewers had the same issue, but just clicked on it without noticing? This purchase has already been great for me, and I will rate it 4 out of 5 based on several factors 1 *br The fiber optic sight upgrade usually costs a little bit of money and takes a lot of I did not have any trouble with this one. 1. 2. The sight is not permanent, and if it does happen to fly off. . . it's only fifteen bucks, and I still have the barrel's original bead sight for backup. 2.
I really like how bright it is! A lot brighter than the fiber optic sight that came standard on my Springfield XDS (possibly because of its extra length).

Do not rush! Have patience! Honestly, no words can describe how amazed I am! My first attempt at installing this sight was unsuccessful, as I watched a few videos on installing this sight
4/5

A failure occurred. Having been snapped into the correct place, the puppy will not move once it is in place. It's going to be painful to get this to fit properly unless you can perfectly match it up with your existing brass sight. Make sure you're lined up at a 45 degree angle and suggest coming in at an angle. Put the snaps in You can gently press the piece into place using a plastic punch and small hammer. I had some trouble getting it to work, but in the end I managed to do so. A fiber optic line that is both bright.

The Best Alternative to Brass Beads! As a result, there is a difference between the visibility of the large red fiber dot at night and that of a standard brass bead during the day
5/5

No matter what light source it is exposed to, it is naturally brighter than the bead. When you look at the red dot in moderate to bright light, your eye is immediately drawn to it. The ability to aim with both eyes open is greatly improved. During darker lighting conditions, it produces a much larger silhouette than what my bead would provide in that situation. It's a tight fit with my 12ga Mossberg. It's an excellent improvement.

Owners of Mossberg Shockwaves cannot live without this
5/5

It is of a good quality at a decent price. I bought it for use on a Mossberg Shockwave, which tends to shoot high due to its I choose this front sight specifically because it is just the right height for hitting where I want to.

Fit is tight, and the pip is bright
5/5

The instructions said to simply press the thing onto the barrel, so I didn't believe them. My heart was pounding so hard I thought it was going to snap in two. Nevertheless, it went on right there, and it took some effort afterwards to twist it around and align it with the ribs and the beads. There is no way this will ever slip out of place. (the heat shield on the barrel obstructed the bead from getting to the fiber the fiber is bright and sits at just the right spot. The fibers are perfectly positioned on top of this fiber).

You will love this site if you want to fire a The shotgun I have was in some way modified, I think the gun was a Mohawk that was cut down, someone tried welding a ring onto it to hold a handmade site
5/5

I believe this gun is at least 50 years old. It hasn't let me off the ring, but I can't get my site to When I saw this instead of some JB Weld, I immediately thought of it. I got it in and snapped it on, and I love it. When you lay eyes on it, you may think it is too small, but it isn't, and it is perfectly sized to fit your barrel. Please be aware. You need to line it up, or it will snap tight onto your site, so you can't reposition once it has been installed. Overall, it's a fantastic.

Positive reviews were provided for the film
3/5

The problem is. The payment is for my new Mossberg 88 shotgun I purchased in April 2020. Follow the instructions for how to install everyone has given you and it won't be difficult. The gun sight of my gun was sitting at the bottom of my gun safe as I looked at it today, October 2020. There was a split in the middle and the top was broken off it appeared to have fallen off the pistol. A clean and unfired gun was kept in a neat and orderly storage room. The item you selected is recommended for this firearm. Replacing this item won't be my next purchase!.
