You can see through the lens caps and it's a very good redesign
Cannot see a " made in ___ " on the unit itself (it is mounted). Although I guess it was made in the USA, the job was well done regardless of where it originated.
Picatinny mounting is available on the sight in two different ways This mount has a standard Torx Picatinny screw and an absolute conical backer Picatinny QR riser mount is a good example.

I missed the opportunity to mention its different features and my experiences with the product in my last review. I was rejected by Amazon because I failed to mention these things. Well, okay here's my thing - I'm a fan of the fact that Sig Sauer makes the Red Dot which I consider the best firearms manufacturer in the world (note I didn't say gun). My favorite feature is that it shuts itself off and on automatically. One of my favorite things about this product is the battery which will last for 5,000 hours. The other is that there are two sets of lens covers, one of which is a flip up clear one, and the other is a Two different mounts can be used with it, which is a nice feature. There are several reticle options available in this product, and I appreciate that. There is no need to remove the sight to change the battery. This is a feature I appreciate. So here is what I've experienced so far. I received the sight in the most beautiful packaging I have ever seen, along with everything that Sig Sauer promised. Afterwards, I put the Romeo 4H onto my 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine, took it to the gun range, turned it on, and the reticle looked nice and bright. In all my excitement I reached down and gently pressed the trigger, as soon as I did, the reticle was out, the gun had died. In Amazon's view, it has a totally different story and one that must be shared by the seller. I returned it to the seller. I need your feedback at com/feedback, in 400 characters or less (try giving an accurate review about a negative experience in 400 characters or less sometime. ) This is the second set of the same Sig Sauer Romeo 4H red dot sights that broke the first time around. This is the end of the.
It is one of the best red When you have the option to get the 4H instead of just the Romeo 4, it is worth it to invest a little more. These Sig products are great, this is a great red dot, with the same pattern as the EO Tech, I enjoy the protective covers on both sides, and it has many settings. It is convenient to use the quick-release lock as well. There is a ZERO on it and you can take it off and on. The EO Tech set up and the Vortex set up that is similar have been less impressive to me than the Juliet 3X Mag and the EO Tech set up. The price is less than the EO tech, but more than the Vortex (I have both). There is more to the vortex than with the tornado. My only complaint is that I would have preferred that they put it in a plastic case like EO Techs. Rather than a nice bag that you can use to keep your device safe, it's a really solid bag that you can keep it in, but it's obviously not as safe as a plastic one.
A few days later, I took Romeo4H to the range to zero it. There was no movement of the wonderful circle when both elevation and windage controls were turned on. There is a dot reticle on the right side. It is true that I removed the caps In the case that it had worked, I would have been delighted with its My Amazon customer service team connected me with Sig customer service, who make the claim that they will always stand behind their products. A prepaid FedEx address label was emailed to me so I could ship it to the It could take four days for the order to be completed There will be no problem for 8 weeks, but I will have it repaired or replaced. As soon as I get my red dot back, I will update this post.
My reason for buying this optic was Sig's reputation for making quality products at a reasonable price. I was looking for a red dot that had a circle of light around it to show the pointer-- We were looking for a product that would allow dot configuration, and this one seemed like it would fit the bill. This product came in a very nice box, and it felt very I was unable to mount it to my rifle after discovering that the pin that holds the QD lever closed was missing. This meant that the latch, coupled with the spring, flew across my floor when I went to mount it. In my opinion, it's unclear if the retaining pin was not there to begin with, or whether it fell out during the handling process. No matter how you looked at it, The optic, however, failed within less than 150 rounds, and that is perhaps more troubling. I did a couple of mag dumps to end the day on my first trip to the range after getting the optic sighted in. At the halfway point of the second mag dump, the 65 MOA circle suddenly disappeared, while the point in the center remained. There was no point in pressing the same combination of buttons to permanently restore the circle. If I pressed the brightness up button, the setting would sometimes appear, but would disappear after I let go of the button. I sent Sig a communique after coming home from the range regarding the faulty product. It has been two weeks since I sent it, and I am still waiting on While I understand that a company may be busy, they must make sure that their customers come first, which is not what they seem to be doing, at the moment. In the future, I will not buy or recommend Sig optics, and I will not recommend any of the company's products to friends or family members. My expectation when I buy an optic for 375 dollars is that it will last a long time, but Sig's priorities don't align with mine.
I have no idea how that happened. This optic has been moving around all day for 12 hours, and it has not failed to work. I held a good zero with this set up as well as the Juliet 4. Despite the fact that the serial number was located under the optic, I had to remove the base plate to locate and register the number with SIG. This is an amazing optic and I highly recommend it.
A well-engineered, easy to maintain device that is accurate, easy to use, A great optic all around. Besides the great price, it is also highly recommended.
If the light is imbalanced with bright light on the back and darker light on the front, the Sig 4H will show a pink flair or ghost image. The customer service team at Sig told me this was Having replaced the 4H with one of the Aimpoint Pro units. As a matter of fact, the Aimpoint is much more affordable and much more professional. In the past, Sig products have disappointed me by their customer service and inital build quality, so I no longer purchase.
I'm being serious. It was my mistake not to follow up on my edit. As soon as they sent me out a new site, I started using it. It is likely that the two would differ significantly. A red dot like this is appealing to me. Now I have a third one designed to fit Daniel Defense and have a Juliette magnifier attached. Does the word have the following meanings Do you still take quality control seriously It came brand new out of the box, and the first thing I noticed was 4 articles.
