I've already given this safe a review, but after more research, I changed my mind and went from a 3 to a 5 star rating. I found nothing wrong with this safe other than the fact that it was too large to fit in my car, but if I ever needed a handgun safe in my house, I would buy this safe. I just didn't have a need for it in my house at the time, but maybe later on down the road. I find nothing wrong with this product and would recommend it.
I thought it was a nice gun safe when I got it, and I loved it. The case is black matte metal with a brushed finish. It's simple to store in your bedside drawer. Setup is a breeze. It comes with a unique easy-to-use feature. Install a loop on your closet door to keep it locked. br>br>I put it through its paces and discovered that it can be opened with your finger, a code, or a key. I keep it next to your bed as a habit because it's a great way to get in quickly, especially at night. It's small enough to fit in a drawer. I can fit one or two firearms in it, so it's the perfect size. In the event of an emergency, I used it to store a pistol and two magazines. It's perfect, and no one else would open it by accident. It protects children from making mistakes, in particular. It's been opened. This, I suppose, has placed me in a safe place. br>br>The gun safe is made of matte metals that feel great when you touch them. It is also extremely durable. I don't believe it will be damaged if it is dropped or hammered. br>br>The gun safe runs on four AAA batteries, which are readily available. Last but not least, I recommend that you keep the gun safe key in a secure location. Because your key is the only way to open it and resupply the AAA battery when it runs out. Otherwise, given how tough the safe is, I'm guessing you won't be able to open it easily. This is the second gun safe I've purchased for my automobile. It is far superior to the first brand I purchased. It responds so quickly to my fingerprint that I can access my files in a flash. In a fun safe, that's exactly what I'm looking for.
The construction is extremely sturdy. The keypad is simple to set up and operate. The fingerprint reader is simple to set up and recognizes fingerprints accurately and quickly.

This is something I bought for my son, and he absolutely adores it.
To open our old safe, we had to use a code and a key. We had to demolish it recently because: (1) we forgot the combination and couldn't remember where we wrote it down (we still had the key), (2) we contacted the company, but they couldn't provide the combination due to its age, and (3) it seemed cheaper to destroy it than to pay a locksmith to open it. When the opportunity arose, I chose the XDeer Biometric gun safe to replace our old safe, and it is ideal for securing our firearms, holding two small handguns (9mm and 38) as well as some important documents (i. e. , passports, Social Security cards, and other similar documents). This one can be opened with a key (there are two included), a biometric fingerprint, or a key-less entry system. Combination of pads With so many options, it's unlikely that we'll forget how to use it or become locked out. Thank goodness for that. It's simple to set up this device. It's easy to set up/program (instructions included), and it's the ideal size for keeping/storing in a hidden location. Overall, I give this safe 5 stars because it comes with a cable that can be used to secure it to something if desired.
