The Glock 26 I have is a gen 3 and mine is the same size as the gen 3.
There cannot be a generic GLOCK model, only GLOCK 26/27/33/39 can be used.
Fits should be no problem. It should be noted that magazines within a model are pretty much interchangeable, with the only difference being things like metal linings to prevent bulging or magazine release cutouts. The baseplates haven't changed though in any manner that would alter their That is a different issue. It may look funny, but it isn't.
There is only one version of this grip extension for the Glock The security 9 may have extensions, but I am not aware of them.

For my Glock 26, Gen 3 9mm, I put these on. Using the GTUL magazine removal tool (the RED one), I was able to remove the magazine. By compression of the body of the mag, I pinched the GTUL through a vise. To remove the floor plate, tap it off with a flathead screwdriver. The method I use to remove Glock floorplates is shown here. It was relatively straightforward to install the Pinky Extension. The nipple should pop out of the hole in the floor plate once the extension is on. Neither magazine took more than five minutes to download and install. You should note You don't add any more rounds to the magazine with this extension. It only allows you to grip the magazine better with your pinky.
It makes it easier to install with just the right amount of flexibility. I picked up the first extended magazine baseplate and snapped it into place, but it broke just at the side lock as I tried to snap it into place (right at the square plastic nib on the left side of the magazine that locks into the solution for me was to soak the magazine in hot water for several minutes. In order to install the Glock mag, those experiencing installation difficulties should do so. You should watch some YouTube videos and disassemble your computer. It's not as hard as it sounds. Getting the mag from Glock store guy will help you learn Glocks better. He's an excellent YouTube instructor who knows Glocks inside and out. It won't bankrupt you either if you use the tool and make it happen. Several of them can be found on Amazon as well I purchased mine there.
