Although it is a highly versatile tool, its other features were the main reason for my purchase. We just happened to have a knife with us. It's sharp and it cuts well, so in a pinch, it will do. A quick Google search turns up the blade is stainless steel 420. I'm curious to know what the specs are.

As a result of receiving this, I have been using it exclusively for maintenance of In addition to using it at home, I also take it to the range with me. No matter where my guns go, I always have the Real Avid 1911 tool by my side. It is a great multi-purpose tool, but it needs quality control and/or improvement in the following areas. 1
To harden the pick tool, you need to turn it. As a result, you can bend it easily, and it suits cleaning purposes only. The two-digit number 2. Whether I carry it in my bag or use it, the punch does not stay screwed on and keeps coming loose and falling off. The third and final point is. In reality, the file on the bottom of the screwdriver bit socket is of no use. The texture is too coarse and the length is too short. The fourth point is a requirement. With this tool, the knife has no use on it and it doesn't lock into place fully unless you manipulate it to ensure your fingers don't get cut. You should replace it with a 3 sided, multi surface file like that found on the Leatherman Wave. It is urgent that the screwdriver bits undergo quality control. A spring and bearing have fallen out of the 1/8 slotted bit, and this is now falling out of the bit socket and container. Could you tell me where I can get *If these minor issues were fixed, this would replace a 1911 multi tool in every way. There are many upsides to this tool, and it deserves to be fully utilized.
When I was browsing Amazon, I saw this, and it looked nicer and a little bit different from my Leather MUT multipurpose pliers with tools for handgun This item is made in communist China, which I don't like. My first thought was that I would help our American industries by purchasing it, but once I opened the box I realized it was manufactured in China. Furthermore, I have to be careful when I open the knife because it's sharp and the other tools are very close together, and the tip could easily scratch you. It also has other accessories like screwdriver bits, and I will determine how versatile it is when I actually begin to use The only time I have used it so far is to make sure it fits properly, like drilling the screw bits into the storage piece, and the little ball on the driver bits seems to hold and make sure they stay in place. Despite a few very thin Allen wrenches and the overall look of flimsiness, I hope it will last when I first use If they sell this product, the company should state that it is not an American product. A product made by hand.
Despite the fact that the package had been sealed by the factory, the tool appeared to be OK in the package. In the process of opening and inspecting further, the tool was discovered to contain several defective parts. There was none of the smallest allen keys to be found. It was impossible to use any bit securely without it falling out of the socket because it was too loose and shallow. There was a problem with the socket threads on the punch tool, and the punch tool was prone to wobbling. A corner of the punch tool was bent as well. I believe if the tool had been in good working order, it might have been useful. Unfortunately, it was missing parts and indefectible as outlined. There's no way for me to know what I got!.
I bought this tool to use with the magazine punch, but the punch melted after two Its metal is of very poor quality, so be careful when buying it.
It is very handy, but it lacks a large enough variety of flathead drivers, which are needed for adjusting the In some cases I must carry both of these drivers since they don't fit (too fat) most of my guns, but otherwise this is a nice little tool to throw in your range bag to make sight adjustments for many of your guns. This is how the site is set up. Many people have cautioned about the risk of cutting yourself on the pick or knife, but I find this advice helpful it is quite easy to cut yourself, so pay attention when you open and close it. It appears to work fine overall. This cleaning tool fits in a small case with other cleaning supplies you might bring to the range, like oil, etc. Made of durable materials.
The only problem is this. Tool that is perfect for anyone with a gun bag or range bag. In fact, I use this almost exclusively as an edc tool since it has a lot of the features I would normally find on my Multi tool/Gerber. The only issue I have is that the screw that holds the "punch" attachment to the mounting arm is threaded in the wrong direction. It is also VERY wobbly. appears that the bit thread is small, whereas the socket thread on the mounting arm is a completely different size. There's a good chance that it will fall off eventually I hope I don't
If it wasn't for the ONE issue, I would find it to be perfect for what I use.
My Amazon purchase date for this tool is a little over six months old. With a small exception, I've found it to be a good product. It is likely that the ball bearing that holds the flat head to the tool has come loose. I find this to be quite annoying, but not a deal breaker. My mistake was leaving it for too long and not returning it when I had the chance. Today I placed a call to Customer Service at Real Avid, and they sent me a replacement bit right away! I may have rated it 4 stars if it weren't for the Customer Service, but now that I know where to go for all my gunsmithing and cleaning needs, I'll be back!.
In my opinion, this product is a perfect complement to those who carry pistols on a daily basis, especially 1911s. The knife on it can be used to cut in a variety of ways. Furthermore, it is lightweight and compact for what it is and for what it has to offer. The allen wrenches are actually more or less held in place by friction. You may lose them, since they're more or less held in place by friction. It is possible that your wrench does not fit your metric requirements, depending on whether your pistol is American or European in origin.
