Questions & Answers

Will this work on the Gen5 as well?

In fact, yes. Gen 5 devices can be repaired with this tool. In addition to Gen 1, 2, 3, and 4 It appears that this tool will remain a "Buy it for life" tool unless the slide design drastically changes in the future. I strongly recommend this tool, because it is well constructed, works great, requires little storage space in range bags, and proves invaluable when you or your buddy need to remove/reinstall channel liners. The price was totally worth it.

Are you able to use this on a Glock 20 gen 3? What is the standard length of a ?

Glocks with a single stack are the only ones that differ. In the manual, the channel liners are supposed to be removed from all guns using a 5/16 inch bolt. But this tool only has the 5/16 on one side to take them out and the same diameter push tool on the other side to replace them. Caution is advised. It is advisable to buy a channel liner and have it on hand since you are likely to ruin it while removing it.

Do you know what thread pattern this uses?

To receive and secure the firing pin assembly inside Glock slides, this simple tool is used to remove and install plastic sleeves. In addition to the threaded end for extracting the plastic sleeve, the machined end is used for installing a new one. In addition, there is no requirement to secure additional hardware to the tool, so the thread pitch makes no difference.

Those reviews wishing for a handle should be ignored
5/5

I like this tool a lot. The installation and removal of the program go smoothly. There may be some reviews complaining that it lacks a handle, but ignore those reviews! purchasing this tool, you already own a glock punch that can be used to disassemble your glock, you are aware that you can even reach Since the hold on this tool is the same size as your punch, you get the handle as well.

Designing a multi-faceted product that is thoughtful and useful An instrument
5/5

This is the one you should pick if you're shopping around. If you're looking for a better liner installation tool, you should probably pick this one up whether you just realized you should buy the proper tool or if you're just in need of a better liner installation tool. I wanted a tool that had an extracting end, and wasn't ridiculously expensive. Many are either install-only or they have an extracting end, but I didn't want either of those. Is only at the end, or ends at the end of the list A $30 check. This is a good tool for a good price, and I hope that these guys keep the price the same. On top of all of this, this tool has a hole in the center that you can insert a punch or allen key in for extra torque. A further feature (which is not evident in the item picture) is that the threaded end is bevelled, so that you do not beat up the threads on the removal end when you hammer. is something I have never seen on another tool. I give it an A+. I'm very pleased to have another great tool at my disposal.

Despite the Channel Liner's fears, you can now travel without fear
5/5

By using this tool, channel liners can be installed and removed quickly and easily. A solid construction and well-designed tool make this a great tool. As you install, you will tap together the threaded end of the tool and the opposite (unthreaded) end. It is a nice design choice that starts the threads a bit lower than the striking surface to keep the threads from becoming damaged. It is a specialized tool, but for the price, having one is definitely worth the purchase for Glock owners. You might not even notice, but it's worth its weight in gold when you need it, and you will be sans a spare channel liner if the one you are working on fails. It is simple, but effective at the same time.

Would have been better if the grip had been added! This hole is begging to be filled! - but I had to make a handle so I can grip it and pull it out
3/5

Had it been properly thought out, I would have given it 5 stars. They give you half what you need to make it easy on yourself, but they do the job they give you what is necessary.

I found the product to work exactly I've used this to remove and replace channel sleeves and it works great
5/5

On a 17 Gen5, the original sleeve was easily removed and the new sleeve was placed with barely any force through a It would be helpful if you were adding a new slide to your custom model or replacing an old sleeve with this tool. When working with the correct tool, all the difference can be made.

The tool is solid and serves its purpose well
5/5

I actually didn't need the tool after all, even though it is nice. As you can see, my new slide build was just a hair larger, and it fit into the new sleeve without a problem. However, it is not too loose and does not fall back out again.

This steel is extremely high quality
5/5

For my Lone Wolf Timberwolf, I used this kit to insert my channel liner. I found this punch to be very useful. Shipping took four days from California to Ohio, which was well worth the cost of the part. I have received the package via.
