It broke the second time I tried to use Plastic) snapped it like a wood.
After I (an ASE Master Technician and a familiar with tools) freed the tool from its packaging, it took me over 15 minutes to do so. In fact, I almost threw the tool away because of how frustrating it was. When I tried to remove it from the card, I nearly destroyed the tool. It takes patience and perseverance to open it up. I EDITED The tool has been in use in my shop for several months now, and I am pleased with it. I'm very happy with the tool and can use it very easily. It's just the packaging they need to fix.
This is very helpful when you need to remove pins or the front sight, but is I used one of the screwdrivers a few times in the end and it broke. It was a bit disappointing. I was especially disappointed when I searched for a warranty and found nothing specific, and that there was no way for me to return it to Amazon after a Since it's not something you'd use every day, it seems absurd to allow it to be used for just one month. Obviously, packaging and design is awesome (as is the case with all Real Avid products), but I've had quality issues with other Real Avid products, so I wish I would have known that before I bought them.
In the range bag, this is a very useful tool. The real win is the ease of use. It may not be as effective as dedicated tools, but it can definitely be used. The tool has a spring-loaded mechanism to lock it into place, and it is very compact. magnetized end fits pretty well with the front sight screw since it is magnetized.
As a Certified Glock Armorer, I am able to modify a wide range of firearms. You can use this tool to work on pretty much any Glock pistol model or generation. Other than that, you would have to use a sight pusher to replace or correct your rear sight. It costs close to $120 to get a tool like that, so you would probably be better off leaving it to your local gunsmith.
The Glock disassembly tool is convenient for disassembling the weapon. The reason I got it was because I wanted to make a few upgrades to my Glock 21 (night sights, trigger connector, etc. ). I can serve as a helping hand to my colleagues who own Glocks as well, so not only do I have a problem, I can help with my colleagues' Glocks as well. The tool is well worth the investment even if you're not a huge fan of Glock.
I mean really. You will see this product if you are looking at it. There is nothing you need to worry about. As you can see, this tool is far superior to what you get with Glock and having other functional areas makes it much easier to breakdown completely. It is all plastic, except for the tool. The system has not been affected in any way.
I have not had the chance to use this so my opinion may not be completely accurate. There are some things I don't like about There is nothing more to say than it would have been enough if it were made in China, and it looks very cheaply made. Prior to purchasing, I read the reviews several times and tossed the idea around. It would be useful to keep it in my range bag if nothing else. The Glock tools I normally use at home will be used while I'm at home.
