The video quality is a little poor. this model since it was the same one that came with the rock chucker kit I purchased from RCBS. There is a clear difference in the quality of this one than the one I received. There is a big difference in color and the plastic is much thinner. With the rock chucker, my marble slab appeared to be flat because it was made of thick, darker green plastic. This plastic piece is somewhat heavy for a plastic piece, but it is heavy Unlike the previous one, this one wobbles on the marble, is light, and is light in weight. I did not expect it to be as bad as it was. As far as loading blocks go, I'll keep this one since it works, but I plan to look elsewhere for the future.
As a starting point, I used calibre- These trays are specifically designed for reloading, and they work beautifully. I found that once I started reloading more than one caliber, the caliber-related errors started occurring There was a problem with some trays stacking up and taking over The reloading bench on my reloading bench is pretty nice, but it's not very large in terms of storage, so I replaced several trays with one.
It is one of three that I own. The stages allow me to place powder charges on primed shells as they are loaded. I am able to use it for all my reloading calibers, including 9mm, 10mm and more. 223 - 223 - 223. In 308, 6 we find that. The numbers are 5 X 55, The numbers 5X54, 7 are also found in the word document. This is a picture of 5 X 55. From 30 to The 06 is a modern cartridge, and the 8mm Mauser is an old one.
On a single stage press I use these when loading and before applying lube before sizing, I have some that I use as well. It keeps cases steady so they don't tip over and fall out when handling.
Using this item as an additional loading tray was my main objective for buying it. The price on here was under $10, and I got lucky. It sounded pretty interesting, so I decided to take it for a spin. The Hornady loading block I have is from Hornady. In this comparison, Hornady triumphs due to the smaller size and heavier block is much larger than the Hornady version, when placed side by side the RCBS stands about twice as tall. Though it does hold a lot of ammunition, this block is quite large. The Brass for the 270 is much better than that of Hornady.
Worked like a charm. The press I use to reload on is a Lee press, but I have RCBS reloading products as well. They also offer a priming tool that I like. RCBS has been making good products for many years. This is no exception.
Making reloading more organized is made possible by this loading block. To reload, it is important to stay organized and follow a regimen. Whenever you reload, you can make one mistake that would be dangerous and frustrating. Everything in reloading has a place, so this item helps to keep everything in place and helps maintain overall order. The tray is reversible with one side for large caliber shell casings and the other for smaller caliber shell casings. The tray is split so you can buy two trays at once. Reloading is a good use for this item. This is a highly recommended book.
As with all of RCBS' tools, it works as advertised. RCBS has rarely failed to address my problems, and when it did, they took care of it quickly. I would like the rest of the world to take care of their customers as well as gun tool manufacturers.
