I suppose it could, but the bag comes with adjustable straps for carrying it as a backpack. It's extremely comfortable, and the straps are made of a woven, heavy-duty material that can withstand the weight of the firearms inside. It's great for hiking and climbing up a hill because it leaves your hands free to maneuver around any obstacles...
My rifle is a 35" bolt action with a rear stock that can be adjusted. The plates had to be removed in order for it to fit snugly. Even then, it won't fit in your pockets. It's a good thing there are three straps to keep it secure in the pack.
This unit has dual, padded shoulder straps to carry on its own, so attaching it to a funny rucksack may not be practical.

It has a lot of pockets where you can store a lot of different things. In addition to my AR-style rifle, I can carry a variety of sidearms, magazines, safety glasses, and ear protection. In this one case, 15 people are going to the range. I easily removed the straps because I didn't want to carry it in a backpack. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I intend to purchase another as a gift for a friend.
It was exactly what I expected. The divider, as well as the front and back of the case, are all well-padded. There's a lot of extra storage, including two pistol compartments, and the stitching is excellent. The company did an excellent job photographing and describing the two gun case. For the quality of the case, the price was unbelieveably low. This is the case for you if you require one. I was hesitant to buy it because of the low price, but it turned out to be an excellent case that I would recommend and purchase again.
This isn't a low-cost bag. It's exactly what I'm looking for in terms of an AR. I have an Acog Trijicon 4x32 Scope mounted on my AR, and I needed a secure bag to hold all of my magazines as well as the rifle with the scope attached. Not only does this bag provide that, but it also allows me to store even more accessories. It's funny, but this bag could actually fit two rifles with scopes in it! It does exactly what it says on the tin. You can also secure it by attaching a lock to the zippers. One thing I'd like the designers of this bag to consider is adding a way to attach military patches to the outside of the bag. I have a lot of patches from my time in the Marines that I'd like to attach to this bag, but they're all velcro, and the bag doesn't come with a way to do so. As a result, I'll need to sew them on. It's not a huge deal, but if they had it, it would be a nice addition. Regardless, this bag is functional for the money. I believe it is ideal for all of your requirements. Last but not least, if necessary, you can carry your bag on your back! Pros: Ideal for hiking and other outdoor activities. br>br> Excellent quality and construction, as well as a reasonable price; however, it does not appear to be worth the money. It has the feel of a Rifle bag that costs $200. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. There could be a velcro patch for those who want to attach their names or other information; there are definitely military personnel who do this, and it would be great to have this feature added. This rifle bag has plenty of room on the inside for two rifles or shotguns, as well as side pockets for ammunition and other accessories. The bag is made to be strong and durable, as well as waterproof. It's an excellent storage bag that can also be used as a travel bag. It protects and keeps my husband's guns and ammo dry and safe. It provides excellent value for money.
In terms of longevity, only time will tell, but this appears to be a solid investment. The fabric is thick, the zipper appears to be sturdy, and it performs as expected. It has enough room for two full-sized modern sporting rifles, plus a large pistol pocket on the side that can fit my very compact 9mm carbine, as well as plenty of accessory pockets for magazines and other items.
Great new year gift for my uncle, who is crazy about his guns and some of them have no cases or folders because he goes hunting and often takes his collection with him, we decided to give him this amazing gift with additional pockets case, which made him fill up like a kid after unwrapping his gift happy uncle happy family))).
The bag is well-made and should suffice for my purposes. I'd prefer the shell storage to be on the inside of the bag rather than on the outside, but the eyelets for the lock are too small to accommodate a heavy-duty key lock. My TSA luggage locks were the only ones that would fit.
It has enough space for everything I need to bring with me. This case can hold two scoped ARs, one AR pistol with bipod, two full-size handguns, magazines, and ammo for all of them, plus. This is a fantastic case.
