The DNZ Products Game Reaper One-Piece Scope Mount is lightweight, rugged, and extremely accurate. In the firearms industry, it is also the simplest and most straightforward scope mount to set up.

There is no need to lap.

A solid block of 6061T6 aluminum was used to create this piece.

Thread length can be increased by up to four times, or a full 1/2 inch.

Fitment information can be found on their website. This one will almost certainly fit other brands and models of firearms, but it's designed specifically for the Savage model 93.

Will this work on a Savage Model 93 that is left handed? 22 wmr?

It should, because the factory mounting holes for this base are most likely the same for both the 22 mag and the 17 mag.

Is there a need for a base for these rings?

Hello, they attach to the gun by screwing them on - Simply remove the top part of the rings, allowing you to see the screws clearly. You must purchase the appropriate mount for your firearm. I'm a fan of this brand- As they are made true, piece mounts. Shoot with caution.

I needed to notch the scope lens cover because the High Mount perfectly cleared the 50mm objective

I mounted it on a Savage 93R17 17HMR Rifle with a bull barrel. I used a Simmons Whitetail Classic 6 as a mount. The High Mount cleared the 50mm objective perfectly, and I only had to notch the scope lens cover on the objective after the mount to fit them. The mount was fantastic in and of itself. Allen head screws with a wrench were included in the package. I'm going to the range tomorrow with this. I'll go over it again after I've fired a few hundred rounds through the rifle. I'd buy it again so far. The mount appears to be perfect in terms of appearance and fit. br>br>Update: 04/22/2015br>br>Mount is still a great place to visit. I wish I could move my optic back about a foot, but the scope/mount combo I have is limited in that regard. The quality continues to impress me. Because my rifle is more of a bench weapon, I don't take it into the woods very often. If both are required, I believe this mount will hold up.

I put it up right away and was pleased with the material quality. I went to my property's shooting range and started the barrel seasoning and sight in process after bore sighting my scope (22 mag). During my range session, the mount held my scope in place perfectly. There are 150 rounds in total. As an engineer, I can be a little picky (or so I'm told), but I'm happy with the mount in every way. I intend to buy more mounts for my 17 HMR and 22 LR rifles. br>br>In conclusion, while this is not an inexpensive mount, it is reasonably priced, and if you are looking for a high-quality product with a solid design, I would highly recommend this mount.

For your Savage, there's an awesome scope mount

The rifle is mounted on a Savage 93R17 and has a BSA Sweet 17 6-inch barrel. The scope is 18x40. It looks great, and it was simple to install. Despite being taken to the range and afield multiple times, as well as being bumped around in the safe, it still looks brand new. There are no complaints, and it is a fantastic value for a U. On my bolt guns, I'll never go back to two-piece mounts; these are rock solid and foolproof. Degreasing the screw holes and applying a small amount of blue Loctite to the mounting screw threads keep her firmly in place. Mount your scope and tighten the screws with a torque driver before heading to the range. It's that simple. There's no need to worry about lapping or loose components. These mounts are mounted on a. It gave me the clearance I needed for the 50mm AO scope I had purchased for it. (It was 0 at the time. ) Between the barrel and the 2, there is a 055" clearance. AO ring with a diameter of 522". )br>I had hoped for a 1-star rating. After reading about alignment issues that a few others had experienced with various 2-piece mounts, I decided to give it a try myself. I've never had any issues with this mount's base/ring setup. It's also extremely well-made. The only "issue" I discovered was that I needed to shorten the two front screws by one or two threads, though I couldn't tell if they were too long or if the last couple of threads in the receiver were bad. br> (Because they sunk to the bottom of the barrel, there was no way to check or repair the threads if they were the source of the problem. ) ) Here's something else to think about for others: Make sure these two screws (separately!) tighten the mount to the receiver. ) before putting the two back screws in place. br>All in all, I have no reservations in recommending this to others who prefer a 1-on-1 experience. piece mount for their scopes that have objective bells with similar large diameters.

Mounts of the highest quality Whenever I have the opportunity, I try to purchase them! Easy to install; all you have to do is torque them and use purple loctite! DNZ makes a "nevel" that is scope and ring size specific (1" or 30mm), so make sure you get the right one!.

As stated in the advertisement. I used it on a Savage and it worked great. Because the factory bases were of poor quality, I was given a score of 17 out of a possible 20. br>The Game Reaper is a good game to play. a base and a ring in a single piece.
