They've been kiln dried and stabilized, but no chemical stabilizers have been used.

Large knife handle with plenty of room for errors. I got a very nice pattern with good grain on mine, but I've read other reviews where people have complained about the opposite.

It is not a worthwhile investment

I ordered the Wenge knife scales, and they not only arrived in a rough cut, not flat or anything, but they also didn't look anything like the photos. I understand that every piece of wood is different, but the pictures they show have huge, beautiful variations in the pattern, whereas the ones I received are very plain for Wenge. I'm not convinced.

The item arrived in perfect condition, packaged in a padded plastic envelope. The L W sizes are given. H of the scales were perfect, and sanded down and epoxied onto my grandfather's old chef knife, they look fantastic.
