To begin, keep in mind that the largest chef knife has a special razor that, by design, does not require any sharpening. To be honest, I'd rather have the regular one and sharpen it manually every now and then, because after just a few months of daily use, I'm already starting to notice a lack of sharpness. br>The remaining knives, which are supposed to handle bread and the rest of the things you cut, such as vegetables, are completely useless due to their small size. I eventually had to buy a new chef knife, one that was both cheap and simple, and use it as an all-purpose tool. one of the goals br>However, on the plus side - So far, none of the knives in the set have shown any signs of rust.
I had my doubts about these because I'm used to much more expensive knives, but I really like them and see why they won't need to be sharpened. Each of the blades has serrations and is extremely sharp. For summer RVing, I really like this small set.
Overall, this is a fantastic product for the money. The knives are well-made and have a good edge. While these are not Cutco, they are great for everyday use and are reasonably priced.

These don't seem to be as sharp as I had hoped. These aren't as sharp as my other Chicago Cutlery knives. I'm hoping they'll last a little longer, but I'm tempted to send them back. These are far inferior to the JA Henckels that I use in my friend's kitchen - Maybe the ones sold on Amazon aren't up to snuff QA-wise?.
