So far, I'm a big fan of this case. It took me about 90 minutes to get the case set up to fit my gear. I was a little apprehensive about putting it together because it doesn't go back together once you've taken it apart. The sheets of foam, fortunately, are very well held together. I discovered that outlining your equipment with a marker, breaking the seams between squares along the outside of your outline with a utility knife, and then pulling along your marks is the best method. Keep two blocks between any piece of equipment, as a rule of thumb. When you're down to a single block, the area becomes flimsy and doesn't provide much protection for the equipment. br>br>There are multiple layers of foam sheets, so if the top layer isn't deep enough, you can always pull areas of the second layer. Only a couple of places required me to remove the bottom layer of material as well. The goal is to have a tight fit, but you also want to be able to retrieve and replace your equipment without having to pull up the entire sheet of foam, so don't be concerned if the foam doesn't completely touch your equipment. Even in areas with more space, there is plenty of padding all around the equipment, ensuring that it does not bang around.
THIS CASE HAS BEEN EXCELLENTLY CREATED! The clasps have a good amount of strength. The casters and handles are both sturdy and well-designed. When fully loaded, they'll have no trouble handling the weight of this herculian case. If I ever needed two, I would buy them again. I don't think I'll be able to wear this one out. Always keep in mind that you only have to buy something once, and you only have to cry once. Cedar Mills has earned my loyalty, and I thank you for that. In addition: I measured the height, width, and hole size of the area designed to hold the padlocks with a caliper. I chose these locks from Amazon based on these measurements (Master Lock Padlock, Magnum Covered Laminated Steel Lock, 1-Inch Diameter, 1-Inch Diameter, 1-Inch Diameter, 1-Inch Diameter, 1-Inch Diameter, 1-Inch Diameter, 1- 7/8 in. They were a perfect fit (Wide, M115XQLF). Although there are four locks in this case, I believe two are sufficient. Once again, I appreciate your help.
It's well-made, sturdy, and has numerous locking points. The foam pieces are simple to cut out to customize what articles or firearms you want to transport, and there is plenty of room for multiple rifle/handgun combinations.
It's ideal for compound bows because it's very secure and provides sufficient protection.
Cut to the east Foam is being used for the bow and firearm. It appears to be of high quality. However, I have yet to put it to the test.
The case is well-made and fits my bow and all of its accessories perfectly. It appears to be waterproof, but only time will tell after a road trip through several states.
