Morakniv Craftline 546 Fixed Blade Knife

There's no doubt about it; it's fantastic. I have quite a few of them, and they're all fantastic. I'll probably buy more of them, mainly because I have a problem with them, but that doesn't change the fact that they're fantastic knives. Superior quality, comfortable, and capable of completing any cutting task. Holding an edge is a difficult task. br>Some people bemoan the fact that the "finish is sub-par. " due to the ability to see polish marks" or something along those lines. Come on, you sissies, put on a pair of nads. Put on some finger nail polish and jewelry to impress your friends if you want to impress them. I'm confident they'll be blown away. These Mora knives, on the other hand, are excellent if you want a sturdy, high-quality knife that will get the job done. They honestly hold up to anything for the price point. Buck's, Schrade's, Case's, KaBar's, and a slew of other high-end knives abound in my collection - They aren't "better" than a Mora in any way. br>br>If you've ever missed a deer shot and become enraged, this is the knife for you! Additionally, these are available in a bright orange color. When you go looking for them, they're a lot easier to find. Just thought I'd mention it.

It's inexpensive enough to use as a beater outdoor work knife without fear of losing money. I bought a few of these because they are a good fixed blade knife. Two Companion models, one orange and one green, with slightly longer blades, as well as the 546 Stainless Basic Craftline, a 511 Basic Carbon Steel model, and a SS Craftline Pro model. I wanted to see and feel the differences between these models for myself, so I bought one of each because they were all within a few dollars of each other and at a great price. All of them are appealing to me. Between the shorter models, I prefer the 511 Basic's bright orange handle for ease of finding it in tall grass or at night, or finding it in the bottom of an emergency car kit, but I think the Craftline Pro, with its overmolded rubber grip, is my favorite in terms of comfort. Each of the shorter ones has been added to the emergency kits in each of our three vehicles; you never know when you'll need a good fixed blade knife. My wife and I will use the two Companions to do yard, garden, and landscaping work around the house. Would I take these with me if I were going to Alaska's wilderness? I might bring one with me for light duty tasks, but I'd much rather bring a more robust full tang knife. By the way, they all came razor sharp, so keep an eye on your fingers when removing the knife from the sheath; another benefit of the Companions and Craftline Pro's overmolded rubber grips is that it's not always easy to maintain a good grip on the handle while removing the knife from the sheath. The sheaths all have a small raised area where you can rest your thumb for leverage when removing the knife from the sheath, but it's not ideal.

Despite this, I had a cool knife that served me for almost two years before it broke under pressure, breaking my heart because I adored it. br>br>That's when I decided I didn't want to buy another cheap knife and instead go for a better one! I went on Amazon and found this "Morakniv Craftline Basic 546 Fixed Blade Utility Knife" that had excellent reviews and was also on sale. I was interested in giving it a try. br>br>It arrived in two days, and oh my goodness! "THE KNIFE," as I like to call it. In just 8 minutes, I was able to chop the entire pumpkin, skin and all, and it was incredibly sharp and yet smooth! br>br>I have never seen a knife like this in my life, especially at this price! br>br>It's sturdy, and the handle is easy to grip! I can quickly cut vegetables, which motivates me to get into the kitchen and experiment with new vegetable dishes!.

I keep buying and giving away great knives because they are so inexpensive. I don't worry about it because it's the first knife I reach for around the house. If it wanders away, I'll forget about it, and if it breaks, I'll just buy another one without regard for the cost. I think I have about five or six of these around the house right now, and I bought another six or seven to give away as gifts. br>br>More sane people in my house decided that I shouldn't give these out at Halloween.

I purchased five of them in various colors to give to nieces and nephews. I liked the design so much that I had to have it. They were a hit with everyone. They can easily and safely control the handles because they are large enough. br>br>I kept one for myself to try out and see if they were as good as I had heard, and I was blown away. I didn't sharpen it after a lot of use, and it's still razor sharp. I haven't really put mine to the test yet. I'm sure it'll hold up if I need it to, but they're clearly not designed for that. br>br>As someone who has purchased numerous low-cost knives, I can say that this is far superior to any $30-plus knife. Special in a sporting goods store for $40, made by a Chinese manufacturer.

What more could anyone ask for in a knife? Morakniv knives had a habit of multiplying after a while, so I bought one to check the quality for the price - it was excellent. I was blown away by it. After a few weeks and a half-hour drive, we arrived at our destination. There are a dozen in the workshop, in my toolbox, in the survival kits in my cars, and on my boat, as well as a full-fledged emergency kit. In my carry-on bag, I have a tang survival knife. bag. These are fantastic, high-quality knives in a small package. When compared to my other tools and knives kept in the same area, this knife is simple, rugged, holds an edge, and appears to be rust-resistant. The plastic sheath is basic, but it does the job. My only gripe is that if you try to wear it with a belt, the belt clip keeps falling off.
