St. Croix Rods Premier Spinning Rod

This past weekend was the first time I was able to use it due to boarder restrictions. S. A. The St Croix premier ml 7ft I bought is quite nice. The Mitchell mag ultra 2000 with 8 pound florocarbon does not only make me smile every time I cast since it is made in the greatest nation in the world, the USA, but it is also very light, strong, sensitive and maybe lucky that I have one. This was my 6th catch of the day. The rod felt like a dream when I was fishing yesterday with a 5 lb bass on it. I really believe they are among the best rods in the world. Amazon hadn't had any luck with my attempts thus far to get a rod to work properly. The first rod I ordered (from another company) broke upon delivery. I snapped my second rod (also of a different brand) on the first bass it had I am so happy to have finally found the rod that will help me achieve my goals. Although Amazon refuses to ship rods in rod tubes, the cork handling was slightly damaged since its eyelets were imprinted on the cork. It is unclear why this is happening. The problem did not affect the rod's functionality, and I was tired of sending rods back, so I decided to keep it.
