It is true. In addition to protecting the rod from exposure and scratching, it can also protect the rod from dings and cracks. It's not necessarily the best product, but it's good overall. As for the purpose of which I purchased the sleeve, it has served me well. This product is a good buy for me.
My knowledge of the matter is limited. Although they were flexible and could go over every rod in my rod rack, I don't know if they were sturdy. One of my Roddy was spinning rods with large line guides and it was no problem for him to go over.
They work well for me. I have 7' spinning rods. Those stuff would work on a 6'6" rod I don't see why not
They may be made somewhere, but I was not sure. Those who work for them do so in accordance with their purpose. It's probably a good indicator towards where they are manufactured if the price is low. China is a terrible country, by the way!

A reusable novelty rod sock at a decent price was not really a dealbreaker for me. Our excitement grew when they arrived. Both my wife and I were anxious to use the Even though I'm a fairly average sized guy, these things were gigantic! Even after scaling down to size, the reservoir tip was too long and hard for my wife. When I reflected upon this, I realized what was wrong. The rod socks I'm talking about are the rod socks I'm talking about! When I figured out their real purpose, I was delighted to find that my fishing gear was Spinning rods do not work with them, but they fit well with all 7' to 10' rods There are about a dozen fishing rods in my *Unfortunately, these weren't the rod socks I thought they were, so hopefully I'll be able to have kid number 4 soon. I still think you're cool! As long as my fishing rods are well covered and protected, I won't have to worry about them.
In the past, I've bought similar sleeves from other vendors that were much better and more appropriately sized These sleeves can be used for bait casting rods but cannot pass over spinning rod guides because of their diameter. These sleeves are not suitable for my spinning rods, so I am returning them.
They are also very high Casting rods of this length work very well for me. There are no exposed rod tips anytime soon since the material is thick and sturdy. The rod tips are wrapped (so no bare rod tips anywhere near). While the diameter isn't big enough for a spinning rod's big eye, it is adequate for a fishing rod. This rod sock is better than what you will find at stores like Bass Pro or Walmart. It also has a longer life span than a single rod sock.
According to the description, they can be used with spinning rods, but in reality they can only be used with some There are a variety of sizes and lengths of spinning rods that I have. It is only possible to use these sleeves over the guides of the smaller rods, and the light and ultra-light rods. Put a longer rod than six inches on the rod and see what happens. It is likely they will not work with 5'. Besides that, I've seen them work wonderful with all my casting rods up to 6'4". The rods barely make it to the bottom guide. But all in all, the material is sturdy and provided good protection for the rods while in transit and storage.
It is unfortunate that the protectors do not open that wide and are therefore not very useful. Neither cover the reel nor any part of it. About 2 feet is the maximum diameter of the opening. It is about 5 inches long. These are not something I would buy On one of my garmin units though, I used a plastic bag to cover the transducer cord. The software does a great job protecting this and works well for its purposes.
Buying these for my dad for his birthday was a thoughtful gift. His rods need to be protected from tangles, since he commutes to the beach an hour away. He loves to surf fish and needs to keep them protected from the elements. It was unbelievable to see one sleeve priced at $11 in a bait shop! The guy was concerned about how much I had paid, and I reassured him it wasn't so much, I got a great That made his gift even better. " "It made it even better!" I said. I would definitely recommend it!.
So far, these rod covers have worked well for me I had never used them before but I believe they will work well in the future. It has been said that they do not fit spinning robs in some reviews. You likely cannot use them for saltwater rods if you are trying to use them for freshwater They’ve fit well over a few freshwater spinning rods that I have.
This set of rod holders worked well in keeping rods from tangling in the rod box of our boat. We will buy more soon. This is the perfect gift for your dad this year.
