Questions & Answers
You should use a reel with a diameter of 500 or 1000. There is no harm in going with a larger reel, but then it is a lot heavier. A rod of this size seems to be just right for the 1000.
If the rods are purchased directly from us and not from FBA, we will ship the rods in hard fiber tubes that have walls of 1/4". As well as padding the inside of the rods, we secure them so that no rubbing or sliding occurs. A long cardboard box is typically used for the shipment of rods ordered through FBA. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
It is possible for the rod to be damaged. In spinning rods, the spine of the blank is oriented downward if you put a baitcasting reel on it.
Depending on the size of the rods, the rod is 2 piece as well as the handle design number 3. • I have 8 and 9 foot rods • Excellent

It's a real shame that I has so many St Croix rods, but this one is just I used the rod about 4 times before the tip snapped off and about 3 inches of the rod were lost. However, it was fully capable of transporting a 6 lb fish even when it was hit by a 2lb or more crappie. There was no return period on Amazon, so of course it broke after two days. St. Croix will repair or replace any rods that are defective (as long as St. Croix determines it was a defect and not a user issue). The rod must It even comes with a "FedEx deal" where "all" you have to do is pay $20 to return it. Of course, there is packaging to consider. In the event it is deemed not a warranty issue, you will be charged at least $20 to have it replaced or repaired. Does it make sense to pay the $40 extra? Well, it's a rod that costs $120 and that's pretty much useless unless it's modified. On these one-piece rods, the tips cannot just be replaced, which is why the rods must be sent back to the manufacturer.
It had a 1/16 oz. inside. It wasn't a snare for me, so I didn't get snagged. If I pay $50 for shipping, St. Croix will exchange the rod at no charge. Invest in a quality fishing rod instead of wasting your money.
The Shimano Sedona 1000 series is paired with them, and I use them to throw small jigs between 1/32-inches long There are eight. It's a real pleasure to be able to sit on a real seat. As long as I hold it all day, it's extremely comfortable. I would not describe it as great, but it definitely has a good sensitivity, and it has a soft tip with a good backbone from the middle all the way to the butt area. They deal with some quite big crappie and do quite well on them. If it could be stiffer just a tad, but not by much, I'd prefer to have it. My overall opinion of this rod is very positive, and I'm very particular about my gear. The only thing that could make it five stars is if it was a tiny bit more sensitive and slightly stiffer. There is a lot to like about St Croix. It would be a good purchase again, and my third might come soon.
Having used a St. Croix St. Croix 5'4" rod for years, we ordered the 6ft panfish rod because it is a good In addition to the 6ft rod, we thought it would be a great choice. Upon arrival after being in shipping for a week, the box was broken. After returning the broken one, I ordered another and received it a week later, broken into three pieces this time. I am unable to find a way to explain the problem to see if packing and shipping could be amended to provide a working rod. It would be nice to not have to wait another week for a broken rod. As a result of that, we gave up on acquiring the St. Croix rod.
Whenever I went out to fish , I hooked a large crappie that was snapped in half immediately after I hooked it. It took me less than 15 minutes to fish with it.
As far as I can remember, I have never bought one rod this expensive, thinking it would be more cost-effective to buy four inexpensive rods rather than one expensive. The rod was a great option, and I am glad I took a chance on it. From now on, I will be listening to St. Croix! Strong and lightweight, it can be used for a variety of purposes. It comes with a Shimano Sedona 500 with a 4 lbs line on it so I can catch trout, bluegills, smallmouth, and walleyes I hate crappies. This is exactly what I was looking for! There are no words to describe how happy I am On my first outing, I caught enough trout to feed my family for one day It worked both times I fished it. The second time I fished it, I caught all sort of smallmouth. It would be great to have more of these rods for other setups as well!.
What a great rod! I love it! Comparing the rod that I have used with my previous rods, this one is my favorite. Pans will easily catch on it because of its extreme sensitivity. At first I had trouble getting used to the sensitivity, but after a while I'm able to tell the difference between an actual bite and one that isn't. The fishing rod was used by my brother and he almost caught a very large bass. In the event that you are concerned that it will break because it bends too much, you need not worry. A full circle could be reached by the rod with little to no signs that it would break. I took it back to my normal self afterward, as well! It was a good experience for me. It is sure that I will purchase more St. Croix rods from now on.
This rod is very nice and well made. In my purchase, I bought a 6-foot-tall one There's plenty of backbone on this 4" Light action rod. This is an extremely light-weight watch. The Daiwa BG2000 spinning reel is recommended as a partner. As there was a shortage of rods and reels to choose from on Amazon, I was happy to find the rod that I wanted. The shipping was very fast. I ordered on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday. Packing was in a square box instead of a tube, giving me some I did not damage the rod in any way.
