Currently I own four 10FTs, and I use them every weekend at the beach. All of them are attached to Penn 6000 reels, and that is very satisfying to me. So far, the biggest fish is the lemon shark, which is 6 feet long
In this instance, I'm using the 12 foot rod with the Heavy Power / Lure Wt of 4 - 8 lbs The line weight is 20 oz. A moderate amount of weight / a moderate amount of action - The rod comes in 2 pieces and is 73 inches long each. The total length of the rod after assembly is 11 feet 11 inches. Here's what I hope will help you.
It was a real pleasure to hold an Okuma Rockaway. The rod is made of carbon fiber and is very nice. The width of the butt section is narrow, and the matte charcoal black/digest gray color is similar to Fiblink. There is a medium degree of power and action in The Rockaways. There's probably no comparison between guides and maps. Fiblinks have a tendency to have extreme power and quick They could have been produced in the same factory, except for that. Okumas from the Rockaways are very popular with me.
There is only one difference between a casting rod and a spinning rod the rod eyes are slightly smaller since these spinning rods can also be used as casting rods due to their undersize My recommendation would be to choose a larger cast for saltwater bait so that it will fit better.

In addition to surf rods, I own a number of Tica, Tsunami, and Okuma fishing reels. This is a "beater" surf rod I bought to use as a loaner or in rough conditions when I do not want to use my more expensive This rod matches the Okuma Avenger ABF55b with 30# braid and seems to have good balance The (relatively) light, but strong rod would probably be too heavy for any reel larger than this one. I like it better than my most expensive Tica, with the exception of the rubber grips. After handling a 6, it handled a 9 the next time. I was able to easily fight off a five-foot shark after a 20-minute fight. The rod with the reel is a great beginner rod (just under 120 dollars total) that you will use for years to come. So much so that I bought another one to give away, although I may keep it even if I give it away. Rods are still poorly packaged by Amazon The package won't arrive intact, so every time I ordered, I had to wait for several days to receive it. I wish the boxes would be broken up into tubes, not long ones. It is best to order your rod in plenty of time before you need it, so you can return it if it breaks.
In a nutshell It is easy for me to catch black tip sharks using both 12 foot rods in Florida (I frequently catch them as well). *Comes with 280 yards of 50lb braid, paired with a Goture baitfeeder 6000. PROS Please note I find it to be very professional and appealing
- They were both perfectly oriented, and the guides were in good The weight of the 10ft daiwa is much less than the 10ft Daiwa I had previously. Casting has substantially improved (I estimate by 35-50% The old rods are 40% lighter, so the new rods are 40% lighter)* The writer has a great deal of backbone, yet is also very sensitive. Please note As of yet, there has not been any change I will update if something changes. A crack developed in the ceramic insert of my largest guide, and it completely failed When I sent Customer Service a message, they replied shortly. After a few emails back and forth, my rod was replaced. Customers are well taken care of by them. The following is the most recent update for the month of May I am now hanging out closer and closer to shore in conjunction with the shark activity 3) I got 3 sharks between three and four pounds last Friday 5-feet (5" There was about 15 minutes of fighting time for each) before I hooked into something huge. We were 50 minutes into the fight (which was going at a ridiculously slow pace, it was as if I had found ) while the thing was 10 yards from shore, my 50lb braid gave up. Even though I still have no idea what it was, our guess was that it was a big, 100lb stingray. I am telling you this story because it is amazing that the rod worked so well! My fishing rod really helped me a great deal at one point when I was dragging the fish into the shore with all I had. The surf fishing is great, so I highly recommend it!.
It is the same thing every customer has said about this rod. The site is fantastic. In a light, well-casting material, you get great feeling and casting ability This blank has a balanced feel, making it my favorite Right now, Rod is on the line. This rod is pretty close to my ideal surf rod, although I would like a Fiblink 15 footer. What's the point of spending more money on a high quality rod than you have to? It's great to be a member of Fiblink. A DUE DATE FOR THE 2ND After years of using this tip guide, I finally had to replace it because the ceramic insert in it (I have the 12ft version) just fell out. My favorite rod continues to be that rod after I put a high quality SIC guide on it ($8 on eBay). Could you please let me know if the upgraded 12ft version resolves this This rod is one of my preferred surf rod recommendations as it is great in feel and power and I have caught a bunch of fish on it both big and small. By adding the Fin Nor Offshore 6500 reel to this rod, you'll be able to create the ultimate I've been waiting for 15ft model Fiblink for a long time. I am updating Over the past week, I have used the rod several times in the OC MD surf and it is great for When I hooked and tried to pull in a giant ray 10 feet (wingspan) all the surfers were gathered around me while I was struggling to control its strength. This rod held up great to its tremendous The next day a small ray weighing 50 lbs came in after 25 minutes and the rod held true again (why do rays always want to walk down the beach with you? Sadly, the sharks were not as big as I would have liked, so I had to leave the shore after seeing a few 3ft sharks. A number of people asked me about my rig and I'm sure I helped sell a dozen Fiblink rods. There's a Fin-R reel on my reel It is well matched with this rod, as Nor 5500 comes with 65lb Stren braid. The only issue with this model would be that the rod handle area below the reel is slim and I am used to one that is thicker so it feels strange casting with it, but that is really just a minor issue. Fiblink is here to help. I'll be in surf fishing heaven if you can just bring me that 15 footer!.
A new update was posted on When I used it for the very first time, the first cast I made with it, 10 inches of the tip broke off. Rods have been carefully crafted, and have not been abused in any way prior to their Could have been that my rod was faulty at the top! This is a great set with stiffness, two-piece construction, and overall, a great design, but it should not have broken on the first cast. A NEW UPDATE After reaching out to customer service about my issue with the rod, the customer service representative reminded me that the rod was covered under a one-year Their response was that they would ship a new rod to me. While spending my vacation in Florida last week, I had originally purchased the rod for surfing, but now I will test out the new rod while fishing for catfish along the Arkansas River and lake. After I have used the product further, I will update. Customer Service, however, is committed to doing things correctly!.
