I purchased these because I thought they were a good value, and after combining gear with my boyfriend we truly needed many rod socks. You would need a much larger pair of socks to fit your It is not possible for them to get half way down a 7' medium The rolled end of the rod captures the eyelets, resulting in a heavy rod. The ends of the hat would still not fit if they were rolled outward instead of in. Finally, I'd like to say that A spinning reel cannot be used because the material is too stiff, the ends aren't rolled properly, and the width is too narrow. The baitcasters were not stuffed with any of them, so we simply returned them.
The sleeves are perfect. I am very happy with them. Because I was so satisfied with the purchase I told my ten brothers and sisters who have also purchased them since I ordered them. It is a great product and we tell everyone that goes fishing about it. The price is reasonable, and there is no downside to the product. My only negative thought is that I am angry that I wasn't the one who came up with My only complaint is that there is nothing to complain about.
This product is not for spinning rods. Multiple rods were easy to keep track of because of their length and colors. It's great for keeping your rods from getting tangled up during transportation, but I find that almost all of my spinning rods are too skinny to fit them. If the rod is too tight, the eyes poke through and the fragile tip curls, making spinning rods with large eyes and thin tips a little unnerving. I am happy and I am grateful for - These are about as good as you can get with them, but beware if they are intended for a rod with even slightly large eyes because they very well might not fit the reel eye.
Their fit on the rods is not snug and they will not stay on them securely.
This style is not ideal for spinning rods, but it would work great for spinning rods. While they may be a fine product, if you are searching for cover-ups, you may be better off looking elsewhere There is no reason to use these sleeves for spinning reels. They are simply too narrow at the opening end to allow them to use with large gathering guides found This baitcasting rod has smaller guides which makes it ideal for baitcasting.
They will help to keep my rods from getting tangled in my truck as I drive to the lake. They will also be useful for my camping trailer since all the different colors will make it easy to identify which rod is which, a huge plus These rod socks work very well on all my rods, from 6' to 7'9". I'm very satisfied with them!.
You get a lot for your money with these. With the brand names, you can cover all of your rods for the price of two. I would recommend them even if they are a little tight for larger eyelets on spinning rods. The price is too good to pass up.
My family of five goes fishing every year, and we have 10 or more poles in the car. I'm so glad I found these to prevent our poles.
