Does this drag have a sealed saltwater seal?

Not at all. A shield surrounds the drag, but it is not completely

The 7/8/9 is a different model than the 7/8/9 8 weight, is it not? So if that's the case, do either of them have extra spools available to me?

This is the same Unless provided otherwise, the line is prespooled with 8 wt for the 7/8/9 8 wt.

How many stickers does it come with?

One of the new ID reels comes with a sticker covered in small white silhouettes of fish species that are displayed on a black background.

The spool seems to be stuck to the reel. How can I remove it? The set screw for the spool should be tight right out of the box, is that normal?

You raise a good point! By simply unscrewing the attachment screw in the center of the spool, the spool can be removed. A spool can be removed from the reel frame by simply lifting it. When the screw comes out of the box, it may be too tight. We would be glad to help with any questions or concerns you may have. My reel took a dump, which meant it was time to commit. That was a great decision on my part. This reel doesn't have a lot of frills, but it's still good. I like it just the way it is.

This needs to be improved

My first impression of this reel was very favorable. Nevertheless, the shaft of the fly rod that holds the bracelet to the fly rod started to wear out after catching 100 rainbows on it. The behemoth has a long history. There has been no problem at all with it so far.
