In most cases, the teflon wear bars should be installed on the bottom of the machine. It takes a lot of beatings for them. It is possible to buy Sleds should have 3 per piece. This is a rock solid piece and will last you a lifetime!
Standish, Michigan is where this is made. The Saginaw Bay, one of the best ice fishing spots in the US, is right next to the hotel. These tough polyethylene bags are made from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene.
It should be able to work on sand. Parking lot is something I'm not familiar with. Wearing it out quickly is likely to cause it to break.

When I pulled deer out of the woods with it attached to an ATV, it was effective. I like it! We were able to load and pull it easily. All of my friends would recommend it to me.
This is a great sled, its sturdy and built well. Ice fishing was why I bought it, but I've discovered it also works great as a sled for my kids!.
As an option to assist in moving rocks down a slope to rebuild sections of a retaining wall / safety wall that collapsed at the top of a sheer cliff, I purchased this product. There was a problem because the area near the retaining wall is very steep and frequently flooded, which makes the task of using heavy equipment too dangerous. My workers tried dollies and wheeled carts, but once you're heading downhill with a lot of weight, it was difficult to stop their momentum. The expectations I had when I bought this were low, so I originally thought it wouldn't last. As a result, I was surprised very much. The sled was an unbelievably effective solution to my problem and I was able to move all the rocks much more efficiently by myself than if a group of workers were using the wrong tools. I didn't receive my rope when it arrived, so I cannot comment on that, but I was still able to find a more suitable rope despite the lack of mine. There was a lot more work than it looks in the pictures. Even though most of the rocks were too heavy for me to pick up, I was able to flip the rock into the sled by placing the sled on its side. With my riding mower, I pushed some of the loads downhill across the grass. Then I flipped them out when I reached the destination. The load I were carrying probably weighed over 150 pounds. As long as I was on higher, less steep ground, and had a long rope and a zero turn, I was able to get good at turning sharply at speed, steering the sled out against the wall while remaining on the higher, flatter When I first saw it I thought that it would crack, but it turned out to be amazingly The animal has enough flexibility to endure a lot of punishment without being hurt, and it remains completely undamaged after a great deal As I cracked the bottom of a Home Depot heavy duty plastic wheelbarrow earlier on this same project, I expected it to crack too, but it is not rigid as its rigidity gives it a much greater resistance to cracking. There were some rocks that were wider than the sled, but it just bent out and bent back when it was My life sure would have been easier if it wasn't just a molded piece of plastic. The lawn and garden tool is now constantly in use for my lawn and garden work.
Anyone wondering if it is possible can rest assured it is. You need to be very careful. The best purchase I made this year may just be the one that I made all the way across the pond.
Since the original, I have adapted it by adding a chain. The purpose of this purchase was to pull hay bales through snow, but it turned out to be much more. In the last couple years, I've added a chain so I can drag it behind the four-wheeler and use it for ranch chores. Transportable in a wide range of conditions such as manure, grain sacks, tools, and field debris. It has not yet worn through the bottom after I've rolled it up and down the driveway and road over gravel. My investment turned out to be a good one.
This is the first year that I am going ice fishing. checking out a few YouTube videos for some suggestions, it became apparent that I should have a sled to haul gear with me on the trail.
I have a sled I've had since the 70s. In reality, it is two orange "GladdaBoggins" that are bolted and glued together, along with multiple layers of old insulite pads placed in the top cavity for organ protection. When I was a teenager and I lived on steep, scary hills, it prevented me from killing myself many times. Despite its ruggedness, reliability is not compromised. I thought it would make sense for us to pull our gear with it. It's not possible. Getting on the lake was fine when it was flat and smooth, but climbing the hill it would tip on its side and it was hardly fit for a sledge. This afternoon, I decided to check out Amazon to see if there was anything A person can only choose from about five to six sizes in this general range. Smaller isn't practical, and going bigger isn't practical either. There is a slight variation in size, but not a great deal. There were two reasons why I was attracted to the Jet Sled There was a $10 savings from free shipping, and most listed a weight of 12 pounds. According to the company, the Jet Sled can carry up to 15 pounds. The walls would be beefier if that were true. My reaction when I found it propped up against my front door when I got home from work was that it looked like a huge intimidating beast. The starfish is held together by a length of rope that is threaded through two holes We drilled holes in the front so that we can pull it. My solution was to purchase a 1/8" thick aluminum plate from Home Depot, drill holes, and slip a heavier piece of cord through before tying In fact, this will cause the stress to spread out over a larger area*, and thus avoid stress cracks from forming As well as drilling 3/8" holes, I did a series of 3/8" holes. For packing the luggage, there are hooks along the side rails to attach bungee cords. I was pleasantly surprised by how rugged this item feels and am looking forward to using it for many years to come.
This is a good price. I bought this for a great price. There is plenty of room for gear in this bag. You can see that it is quite simple. There is a lot of gear I have!.
Since I had to return it after having borrowed it for so long, I purchased a new one. Its balance between storage space and size make it an excellent sled. A person can easily pull this cord. The sled must be tied down with a strong rope because you are pulling a lot of weight I recommend looping either end of the rope through the predetermined holes As opposed to simply tying a knot on each end of the tag, they drilled holes and then tied the ends together, so that they could drag the tags through the holes while dragging them behind them. My sled is larger from Eskimo, which feels flimsier than this one, but it has a convenient size. How much you can fit in a car or truck will depend on how large it is. I have fitted the Jet sled into the back of my Jeep with the seats folded down if you don't have a truck. So long as you don't fill it too high and aren't crossing too many other people's tracks, you shouldn't have any trouble keeping your stuff in. Just check your rear every now and then if that is the case.
