Very dense, with a tendency to sink at the bottom

The powerflex plus is slightly denser and less supple than the regular powerflex. This, I've discovered, means it's more likely to sink at the bottom, and you'll have to work harder to keep it greased and straight so it floats. If your indicator isn't exactly where it should be or you're fishing dries, this can be a real pain. In the future, I'll stick with the standard powerflex. When you buy Powerflex plus in a finer tippet material (6x, 7x), it's great for getting more strength, but I won't be buying it in a leader. I had to go over everything again. To keep it from sinking, apply mucilin every 20 meters.

It's a massive knot

The knots on all three leaders appeared to be larger than usual, making it difficult to get them through the eyelets on my rod. This is the first time I've had a problem with this company, whose leaders are usually very pleasant and efficient. At $5, I'm not sure I'll buy it again. 00 for each leader.
