Nothing can completely withstand salt water, but it should last a long time if you spray it down after trailering.
Yes, mine was a center bolt as well, but this one has brackets that mount to the trailer rather than a center bolt.br>I would say this, because my handle has already broken and I need a new one, I would spend a little more money next time to get a better one.
This trailer jack attaches to the trailer's side. Trailer tongues up to 3" x 5" are compatible with the mounting hardware.
Given that this is a swing-style question, I'm not sure why it's relevant. Jack, get out of here. Simply swing it and stow it parallel to the trailer when you connect to your tow vehicle. However, a measurement of the eyeball is approximately 11 1/2 inches.

I haven't used it to move a 6000-pound boat and trailer yet, so I'm not sure how sturdy it is. The main issue is the inadequate manual, if such a thing can be called that. basically a sheet of paper with no operation instructions, no parts list, and vague, inaccurate installation instructions for various types of jacks written in small print and in four languages. The pivot pin became stuck in a snap ring that had been installed incorrectly. To get 25 feet, I had to use a 9/16 deep socket. Torque measured in pounds The wheel appears to be loose in the fork and is rubbing against it.
I have two of these jacks, and they are both heavy duty and smooth. One is on the trailer of my boat, and the other is on the trailer of my ATV. Both of these solutions are excellent. I just purchased a second one for my ATV trailer because the one that came with it was a piece of junk that bent under normal loads. This one is fantastic and makes unhitching the trailer a breeze.
When UPS received the package, it was destroyed. Fortunately, nothing appears to have been lost; I put it together without consulting the instructions, and it appears to be capable of lifting my 21-foot bass boat! The original lift was 1250 pounds, but this one is 1500 pounds. Much more robust; the box should be beefed up!.
You'd think they'd put a nylock nut on the back, but apparently not. I looked everywhere for a replacement but couldn't find one. Hey, Fulton, do you want to help us out with this?.
Our old jack just gave way, and the boat fell to the ground (still on the trailer) as we were getting ready for a fishing trip. Fortunately, there was no damage to the boat, but getting back off the ground was extremely difficult. I had no idea something like this could happen to me. Be warned: it can and will happen to you. It corroded from the inside after years of salt water exposure, and the weld blew out. This product is tough, and it's a cinch to put together. I don't think I'll have to deal with the same problem again. As usual, shipping was quick.
I could tell right away when I opened the package that this was a much stronger jack than the one I had on my boat. It was simple to set up and performs admirably. It has a greaser for easy maintenance, which I like. Because it has a larger diameter, I believe it is safer than the original and will not fold or collapse. It might be a little much for my boat, but it'll be worth it, especially considering the low price compared to others I've looked at.
There's nothing wrong with it; it's rated for 1500 pounds. It raises and lowers my boat for me. My old Fulton was rated for 1000 pounds and was a pain to crank, but that is no longer the case. I'd suggest it.
I'm very pleased with my purchase, and it was simple to set up.
