There isn't a doubt in my mind about this.
I'm not sure what the temperature is, but to power it up, you'll need a 120 volt AC to 12 volt DC coverter. On the internet, there is a plethora of merchandise available for purchase.
The look-a-likes from China are cheap, but they will fill with water and fail after a short period of time. Rules are more expensive, but they are reliable in the long run.

I'm a commercial boat owner with three boats that stay in the water for the majority of the year, one of which is 45 years old. They are young and sweat a little, and their length ranges from 35 to 40 feet. to 56 ft. Since leaving the military in 1969, I've worked full-time in the commercial sector, and I've used a variety of pumps. I rely on them, so don't be fooled by cheap knockoffs. I've tried other brands before, but RULE is the one I keep coming back to. I've squandered a lot of money on other brands, but I'm not going to do it again; I use the 1500, 2000, and 3500. Each boat should have at least two pumps.
I've always had good luck with Rule bilge pumps, so when it came time to replace one on an older used boat I purchased, it seemed like a no-brainer to go with a Rule pump. Because it was the largest model that would fit in the space I had available, I chose it. If you ever find yourself in need of a bilge pump, I believe you will never regret investing in one. br>br>As with other Rule pumps, this one is simple to set up and runs quietly. Because I couldn't hear the switch, I had to keep running back to the bilge and placing my ear on the deck to see if it was working. If the bilge is full, you know it's working because this thing pushed a lot of water out. I believe the 1500 GHP figure is conservative. br>br>I've only had it for four months, so I can't speak to its durability, but I've always thought this brand of pump gave me my money's worth.
HIS WORKS ARE PERFECT FOR SUPPLEMENTAL BILGE PUMPING.
Pump of excellent quality. In the event of water intrusion or a hose failure, the bilge can be quickly emptied.
One side of the plastic tab was broken when it arrived, making it impossible to snap the item to the basket. During the testing, the pump turned on and off a few times. Sunday desperately needed it to work while in the water, but it refused to turn on.
RULE's products follow a strict set of guidelines. There is no doubt that this is the best of the best; don't think twice about purchasing it and forgetting about it.
It's a little pricey, and I wish it had a float switch, but it's worth it for the peace of mind. This pump quickly and efficiently removes water. This is an excellent pump.
