This item does not appear to be covered by a warranty. Will you answer yes or no to this question? I'm sure it's a typo. The unit I bought hasn't given me any problems. I'd look up a phone number or email address on their website and contact them.
The only thing you can do with it is turn it on and wait for it to turn off for 60 seconds. Then you'd have to wait until you wanted it to run again before turning it back on.
Although it is not a "plate," it does come with a tough, long-lasting knob backing label - a UV- Vinyl sticker that is resistant to water and will stick to any clean surface. It is up to you whether or not to use it.
I got mine; all I had to do was flip a switch.

Only two options are available: off and on. This iterm was defective, and I was one week late in returning it. What a colossal squandering of resources. Because Amazon would not accept it back, I emailed the manufacturer to see if they would replace it, but received no response. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
I followed the instructions for setting up the timer. When I turned it on, it worked for about 4 or 5 seconds before shutting down. This time it didn't work. I put the aerator pump through its paces with a direct connection and it performed admirably. I was unable to reactivate the Leisure Lectronics livewell aerator timer. I tried for over 2 hours, double-checking all connections and wiring, but it still wouldn't work. I'm going to return it and get a refund so I can buy another one that will work.
This device was ideal; it was simple to set up and functioned flawlessly. Although I believe the price is a little high for what it is, what can you do?.
I've had a few of these now, and they're unfortunately the only ones that work for my setup. I just wish they lasted a little longer because I have to replace them pretty much every season.
It's easy to overlook your live well when you're out fishing all day. You set the timer in the morning, and it will take care of live well aeration for the rest of the day. I like what it does; only time will tell how long it will continue to do so, but it appears to be well-made and simple to use.
This is an excellent change! I just installed this on my new 26-foot boat, and it saves a ton of battery power! I have a 45-gallon livewell that we black out with bait, and the bait has been doing great so far on the 1: I was lucky that my livewell switch was at the top of my switch panel because this timer appeared to be a little thicker than my current switches and I'm not sure I could have sandwiched it between two switches, but since it was at the top, I had plenty of room. Then there's the question of how long it'll last.
This outfit is a sham, as everyone else has said. After only 5-minutes of use, it ceased to function. My aerator was never properly powered after 6 cycles of on/off, and I know this because my pump worked fine when connected directly to the battery. it is being returned.
It's simple to set up, but the end result is a complete waste of time. It took about 15 minutes to set up and run. As the owner of an electrical contracting company, I can assure you that it was properly wired. There are a lot of one-star reviews, and the majority of them are the same. Even though there were some 4-star reviews, if you read them, other buyers claim it only lasted one season at most, and I wouldn't feel safe going to bed hoping my bait would be alive in the morning.
