It was my wife who got one and I ordered one right away. According to the product description, it is made of 8Cr14 This blade is made from 440 steel. Compared to each other, I consider both steels to be of a similar quality/function. Having good edge resistance and having easy hone and maintainability, both knives are a good choice. Despite the labels, I do not think there is a significant difference between the two. Labeling is essential, but consistency is even more important. The result is that one star has been lost. It is a good sharp knife. My wife loves the light weight and sharpness of this kitchen knife. She prefers it over expensive knives. It is a good test of a knife to see how it slices The one here is easy to use and cuts thin slices easily. As well as onions, peppers, lettuce, and celery, it can perform well in cutting tasks. As soon as she received it, it was the only knife she used in the house.

One con is the height of the blade. By height, I mean how tall is the blade. The knife is not as tall as some of my other knives, and big hands like mine have to grip it in a different way. But other than that, I like it.
