Mine is a "double" pin, which means it's a single pin with two fiber optics, one on top and one on the bottom. The top is green (the main pin), and the bottom is yellow. I set the dial to the desired yardage, which is the top fiber; the bottom fiber is about 15 yards further than what the dial is set at, but this is completely dependent on bow speed, arrow weight, target distance, and other factors. Fibers on mine are. 019, but depending on where you order from, you can customize the size and color.

I've lost two bucks in the past because I got too excited and used the wrong pin on my old Spott Hogg 5-penny slot machine. the sight of a pin I haven't tried sight hunting yet, but after a little practice, I think I'll enjoy it! I'm putting together the best groups I've ever put together out to 80 yards. The sight is simple to adjust to the desired yardage, and I like the fact that the second pin is about 15 yards away. The top pin is a little further away. With the vertical pin holder, it's simple to shoot at any range in between. The sight was relatively simple to set up, though I wish it had more detailed instructions. You have to sort of figure it out on the fly. I was also concerned because the horizontal adjustment seemed sloppy when the lever was released, but I haven't moved it since I set it, so it's unlikely to be a major issue. I'm hoping this sight lasts as long as my old Spott Hogg, but we'll see because it has more moving parts and appears to be a little more delicate.
You can also choose any distance in between once you've sighted it in at 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards with a simple turn of the dial. This is the most amazing website I've ever seen! Thank you so much, Spot Hogg!.
This is an incredible sight to see. I've always been hesitant to use a single pin sight because if I'm in a tree stand and see a deer at 30 yards but it moves out to 45 yards, I'll have to move and risk being seen or guess the hold over, which I prefer. While in a tree stand, I have a 25 and 38 yard pin, and in the field, I can shoot well beyond my comfort zone with this sight.
Similar to an 800 rifle with a $150 scope, it works, but not as well as it could. I made an attempt at a true-to-life situation. It was a piece of junk, the glow range rover sight. Even at 20 yards, it refused to adjust or remain sighted. This Spot Hogg sight is dead on at 60 yards, which I purchased. Sight it in at 20 and 60 yards before dialing in the desired yardage. It will always hit, depending on your skill level. Isn't that why you spent so much money on the bow in the first place, to be able to shoot far beyond your capabilities?
