Selected User Reviews For Rainier Gear Sport & Hunting 1150 Yards Laser Rangefinder - Linear, Slope and Scan Modes, Compact, Waterproof, and Accurate
Exact measurements were taken. I went to the golf driving range to get some answers to some questions I'd always had, and it confirmed the previous owner's statement on multiple points on the landscape. br>br>Now comes the true test. going out for "tests" at a rate of 100 per cent 200 & 600- Tomorrow's run will be 700 yards. So far, so good; if the review changes after tomorrow, I'll change it and edit this. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> There's about a 2-percentage-point margin of error. There are six yards per hundred. The original review stands, as it is close enough to estimate. A good price-to-performance ratio has been achieved.
It's simple to operate and fits comfortably in your hand. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose.
This rangefinder has exceeded my expectations.

It was a low-cost option that also performed admirably.
The compact suze is appealing to me.
Quality at a reasonable price.
This Rangefinder is extremely simple to operate! I believe that anyone could learn to use the device quickly because it only has two buttons. To turn it on, simply press the power button, and if you forget to turn it off, don't worry; it will turn off on its own after a short period of time to prevent the battery from draining. After that, you point the rangefinder at your intended target, making sure it is within the reticle, and press the power button a third time, displaying the object's range instantly. Simply press the mode button to switch to a different mode on the range finder. This Rangefinder has a really cool mode where you can measure the distance of an object and it will tell you the updated distance even if the object moves. The front of the range finder has a lens that can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise depending on whether the object you're trying to see is fuzzy. Overall, I think this is a good Rangefinder for anyone who isn't familiar with rangefinders or isn't looking for one that is overly complicated, as it only has three adjustment options. The best thing about this rangefinder is how clear it is. I'm not sure what type of lenses were used, but they appear to be of good quality. According to the listing, it can measure a range of up to a little more than 1,000 yards. That is probably possible, but it will be extremely difficult due to the lack of zoom on the rangefinder and the difficulty in keeping the rangefinder still at that distance. This Rangefinder, in my opinion, is best suited for distances of 50 to 500 yards. It comes with a battery, but since it is not a standard battery, I would recommend bringing a second battery if you plan on using it in the woods. It uses a CR2 battery. I'd like to make it clear that this is a water-related issue. Waterproof isn't the same thing as resistant. It's very light, but it's still a little big if you want to put it in your blue jean pockets. It should fit into the cargo pockets of shorts or hunting pants without issue. Finally, I appreciate the inclusion of a case as well as a wrist strap as an added bonus. The case is thick, which keeps dust out and prevents scratches on the lenses. I also like the wrist strap because it means I won't drop it 30 feet below an elevated hunting blind if I'm using it for hunting. br>br>I'd recommend this Rangefinder because it has excellent clarity and is easy to operate. I also like how well it fits in my hand. br>br>I've also included some photos and a video with additional information that you might find useful.
