Questions & Answers

Will these collaborations be fruitful? With a Holosun 507c as a witness?

Mine works fine, but I'd like to be able to align the sights in the event that the Red dot fails in an emergency, while remaining unobtrusive when using the Dot on a regular basis. This site, I believe, is ideal for that purpose. Just to mention, my Holosun 507c is directly milled to the slide of my G19, so it sits slightly lower than a MOS with plates. However, I enjoy this product and find it to perform well.

Will these collaborations be fruitful? Witness with a trijicon rmr and a glock 19 mos? If this is the case, will the back sight simply clear the rmr or will it be elevated?

Yes, they work together. As you can see, the rear sight clears the RMR perfectly. If you send me an email address, I can send you photos that aren't too high or too short.

In light of the fact that only the front sight has tridium, how well do these work?

They perform admirably. You don't want to be confused by a bunch of glowing dots if you're using a micro red dot like I am. If your red dot goes down and all you have is the front dot in a life or death situation, sir, gtg. Place the front dot on your target, and your eyes will naturally gravitate to the back or center of the micro dot window.

Will these collaborations be fruitful? Witness with a luepold rmr and a glock 19 mos?

They will not, I'm afraid. Still, it is too short.

Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS and Viper witnesses ** Updated - **Please see the table below
5/5

With a Vortex Viper, installed on a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS. The sights do appear to work together. The Viper is a good example, but only just. Please see the photos attached. Because the rear site was so small, installation was a bit of a challenge. The quality appears to be excellent at a significantly lower cost than the higher-priced alternatives. sights at the end The main issue with this configuration is that the Viper's locking screws are blocked by the rear sight. Prior to installing the AmeriGlo sights, I had already zeroed the Viper. I'm hoping I won't have to do it again. Because it won't be possible with these taller sights, the answer is zero. br>br>** Updated *
Instead of the Vortex Viper, the Holosun 507C was used. The sights aren't in sync. The Holosun is a good example of this, but only just. The main reason for swapping the red dot was that the Holosun allows zeroing while mounted on the pistol, whereas the rear sights obstruct the Viper's locking screws.

With red dot optics, these sights are fantastic for Glocks
5/5

I recently installed these AmeriGlo sights on my G19, which is equipped with a Vortex Viper optic, and they work flawlessly. Perfectly witness. These sights were ideal for me because I prefer to use a blacked-out rear sight on my guns. Moreover, the price was significantly lower than that of most other brands. I uploaded a few different views of these sights so you can see how they appear on a G19; overall, I'm very happy with them and highly recommend them! If you're going to use a Vortex optic, keep in mind that the Vortex Venom rear base is taller than the Vortex Viper red dot. So, if you're interested in working together, You must use the Viper red dot as a witness. This is something that most gun armorers who do optic cuts will tell you, so hopefully that helps.

I'd buy it again *edit* I wouldn't recommend it for long-term use
3/5

It works great when mounted on a G34 and tested with a vortex viper. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Switched to a trijicon rmr for static shooting and it worked great. I've shot these sights on two different courses, and the rear sight has been knocked to the side on several occasions. I thought it was a fluke on the first course, but on the second, they were repeatedly far to the left. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend these as a duty weapon at this time. They'll go on one of my suppressed pistols, and they'll only be used for plinking. Very let down.

Good sights for a red dot of the proper height
4/5

These sights were purchased for my Glock 19 Gen MOS. This was to be a collaborative effort. Witness my Vortex Venom, which are too short after being installed by my Gunsmith, and the back sights are too low, sitting behind the red dot. Although the front sight is visible and bright, zero is held just above it. I noted it down because there are a hand full of red dots like Vortex, Leupold, RMR, Burris and it should indicate which of these it should 100% co-ordinate with which of witness. br>br>I like them sights because they have good bright orange visibility in the Arizona sun and the night sight works properly. These will work perfectly with an RMR, but if you have a Vortex or Burris FastFire 3, you'll need to find another suppressor height sight.

It's a great sight to pair with my Trijicon rmr because it's so easy to see
5/5

With my "older eyes," I can easily see the orange front sight. They're a perfect match for my Trijicon rmr on my Glock gen5 G17 MOS FS. br>Excellent value, excellent quality, and simple installation with the right tools. br>I would strongly advise you to use them.

I've used a lot of suppressor height sights, and these are by far the best
5/5

The tritium is bright enough to see without being overpowering, and the base of the rear sight is wide enough to fool my eye into forgetting how tall they are.

No modifications were required for a perfect fit on my G19 Slide! ***I originally ordered a set of these and had to return them because the package I received appeared to have been used and was returned
5/5

They were promptly replaced by a new set from Amazon. ***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Reviewbr>***Re Because I'm still working on this build, I haven't installed my RMR yet. With the help of a sight tool I purchased for $40 on eBay, these sights went on without a hitch. A G19 slide does not require any modifications; all I did was add some oil to the rear sight and blue loctite to the fronts. So far, I'm really enjoying these sights because the orange glows brightly, and I like that the back has no markings to accommodate the RMR laser sight that I'll be purchasing. This eliminates distractions when quickly aiming down sight, especially when drawing the holster. br>br>I recommend using sight tools for both the front and rear sights to avoid damaging them, or having your slide professionally installed by a gunsmith.

Glock sights that you should visit
5/5

I've replaced every set of factory sights on my Glocks with Ameriglos and have yet to be disappointed. I wouldn't call them "simple" to install, but I've done it before and I'm not a gunsmith. You can do it if you have a workbench, vise, nylon punch, or something else that won't damage the rear sight when hammering it in (or, better yet, a rear sight tool). A caliper for measuring and centering the rear sight, as well as a front sight tool specific to the Glock, were also useful. In terms of the sight itself, the contrast between the blacked-out rear and the bright orange and tritium front appears to speed up sight acquisition. It's not something I've ever measured or timed, but it feels faster. For me, these sights are a must-have for everyday carry guns.
