This is the first time I have experienced an arrow's fletching grabbing on the bow's sight window because the nock was installed abnormally by 90 degrees. I have purchased hundreds of arrows over the years and this is the first time I have ever experienced You can find several other arrows in the pictures, as well as the ones for this review. Images posted by the vendor on Amazon show the nock both ways, but the nock cannot actually be rotated without damaging the nock and/or shaft of the arrow. As a result of the incorrect orientation, the feathers will slowly start peeling off with each use due to the contact with the sight window on the frame of the bow. *Alternatively, you may want to consider the "GPP Archery Beginner's First Arrows (30" Fiberglass Target Archery Arrows) - White" . My review has been updated with the "12 Pack" which are very nice now.
If the vendor (Huntingdoor) could send me arrows that are built correctly, I would be happy to update it. They don't appear to be manufactured by Huntingdoor, but they are liable for selling a defective hunting arrow that may cause injury to the user. A REPORT ON THE UPDATE FOR 1. 26. 2021. According to the vendor, the following message was sent Amongdst the sellers on Amazon from whom you bought arrows is me. As a result, I noticed that you mentioned the direction in which the nock was pointing. Although its design can rotate, it may happen when too much pressure is applied by the manufacturer. Can it be turned with pliers or a coin? Would you mind if I did this? Would it be possible for you to let me know the results of your efforts? We would like to help you out, it is very important for us. Thank you for your response. I am waiting for your response. Please accept my sincere regards. - Huntingdoor 1/7/2021 UPDATE The response I give is With a coin in my hand I began to turn the nock. The carbon clog made a noise as it began to burn Torque is resisted by the fiber shaft. My first reaction was to find this gritty and damaging, which led me to ask It seems odd to me to be asked to "fix" a problem that the manufacturer caused? I would be like a new car buyer who gets a new car that has been incorrectly assembled and does not drive until it is fixed. As of now, I have only given myself one.
I am pleased with the arrows you sent. These arrows are highly consistent and durable. The nocks are 90 degrees off from what would be expected and using them as is will damage the fletching with traditional shelf rests. Reviews have implied that they arrive almost ready to shoot. They are still correct if using a brush rest however, you can easily adjust and line them up based on what type of rest you need to use. In fact, I've changed my arrow rests back and forth since I have two different bows with different arrow rest configurations. For the most part, I use them with my 50# recurve, and they do the job The durability of the material is good. In other words, I have shot thousands of arrows and every single one of them has missed the target and hit wooden objects (due to my error and It is amazing how well these shafts have held up over the years. In the case of the fletching, they show wear (which can be expected after literally thousands of flights). The fact that I like to shoot as many arrows as possible into as small a space as possible on the target doesn't help either. While they are not intended for that, they still work well when all is said and done. A few arrows ended up needing fletching replacement and were still performing as intended. This item was excellent value for money, and I bought it again to have ready-to-use arrows while I replace the fletching on the remaining ones.
The compound bow I have is older and weighs 60 pounds. I need moderately stiff practice arrows. This brand of 350 spine arrows fit my needs very well, and I was able to find a better deal online for my arrow/draw length requirement. It is harder than it appears (very stiff) to adjust the nock position to match the fletching and arrow rest. Flytching made out of plastic could have been better It may be irreversible, but it is not irreversible. Because of the close packaging method used, the product is distorted. The field points can be removed. This is a great set of arrows.
Using a 56" recurve bow and 30 pound arrows for target shooting, a novice archer shoots at the target. Shipment was in great condition when I received it. A 90 degree turn was needed for the arrow nocks. I am certainly not up to the task of accuracy when it comes to arrows. It is a bit difficult to use these arrows through my bow because they are long and heavy.
I've shot with them from 25 yards out to 60 yards (picture was taken from 25 yards out) and I've had no issues with broadheads or field points. I have shot all 12 at least 70 times without any issues. The people who complain that the nocks are out of alignment, that's the reason they can be adjusted.
I'm just a beginner, but I recommend them for the price. The level of experience I have is not sufficient for me to rate this as a 5 star review.
It would be hard to complain about the price, but I broke off two tips at the beginning, and that was disappointing. It may be best if I hit the target instead.
It's a good practice arrow for a good price. I would not use them for anything above a draw weight of about 45 lbs, though they can be used with compound arrows, recurve arrows, and longbows. This bow is good for beginners and is a good practice bow. I am not familiar with its durability for bow hunting, as I have yet to do so. I highly recommend this practice arrow as a good place to start or to start further practice, and it's probably the best you can find for its.
