My use of them on wild boar has been very successful. On two, a full pass through and a drop within 50'- It is 70'. In one shot, I had a bad shot where the entry looked good but the arrow came out high on the other side. That shot was not found. Flying like a field point is not possible. My ball went a couple of inches high and left at 40 yards. So, you will need to adjust your sight slightly when you switch from a field tip to a Thank you for your help.
In my shooting, I utilize a 3 degree helix and they fly fantastically every time, I simply line them up with the vanes and they respond well.
Crossbows have been used by my son and daughter to kill deer with this broadhead. There has never been a time when it has not With my Compound, I have always used my Trocar Hybrid and it has never failed to deliver on its promise. There is only one brand of Muzzy that I will ever purchase. It has proved itself to me time and again. Several deer were lost and too many people were injured as a result of the "Rage" brand. I wish you luck in your hunt!
My suggestion would be to shoot 125 grain trocars if you're shooting a crossbow

Even though I agree with everyone who believes these to be effective. One thing I do not like about these heads is the way they hang off the shot. Last year I took a seven point buck with my Sniper Lite on the first day of bow season. blade is attached to the broadhead body once it has been slid into its final resting position with a small set screw that has an allen head. Once you have shot arrows at a target a few times, you will find it very difficult to get that screw out. A few of these set screws have stripped out on me and I need to secure the screw with a vise grip in order to remove it. It was a minimal improvement at best to not tighten down the allen head set screws much. These broad heads fly straight through my Sniper Lite and shoot well. I am unsure whether to keep using them or replace them with something with an easier method of blade replacement.
In terms of the functionality of a fixed blade, mechanical broad heads can have the ability to fly far and cut wider, but they cannot compare to a true fixed blade. In the past, I have always wished to return to muzzy hunting, but I am used to the great flight of the mechanical so I have stuck with it, until I had a doe fail to open last season. When it hit and bounced off the ferrule, it bent it. My attention was drawn to these Trocars as soon as I saw them. They were used on a doe at the end of last season, and I have taken five deer with them this year. Precision is great for cuts, penetration, and blood trail and accuracy is the same as my field points out to 50 yards. My preference is to use Muzzy's products as long as they are available. Though I am not the type to leave feedback, I did read all of the reviews regarding the Trocars before making my first purchase, so I thought I would add my two cents to the mix for someone researching them like I did. The best advice that I can give you is to purchase a pack and try it out. There is no reason to doubt you will be pleased.
Muzzy broadheads have never let me down in all the years I have used them. The day of the opening of bow season, I was on top of the world with this 10 pointer Brodhead is without a doubt the best there is!.
I've never seen anything like that before! I am extremely pleased with how sharp these photos are, and how consistent they are with my field measurements. The next time I'll buy a cell phone I'm going to get these. I wish I had tried these first rather than the other brands. But I'm in love with these. After shooting a Block target, I noticed that the broadhead was exposed on the far side of the target following the first shot. The following images were taken by me of them were so close to the far side of the target that I pulled the arrow by pushing through the tip and pulling the arrow to remove it. I have found that these spin well on the table, and they spin well in my spin tester, as well. It is my belief that this broadhead, which has a 1 3/16 cut, will make pass throughs ( and thus an even good trail ) on whitetails with no problem. Weights are measured in grains (99) and are reported. The number is 5. It follows that there are 8, This brand of broadheads is more consistent, with less variation (compared to those of the 10 different types I own). Muzzy, you did a great job.
It was very nice and sharp, too. After shooting #70 bow once through a BLOCK Foam target, the edges of the blades of the bow were chipped, bent, and in bad condition. It was too good to be true for me. then shot two more rounds to see what happened, and the second showed 50% damage to the blades, while the third was 20-30% damage. It is 30 percent damaged. According to me, this is not a good thing for my target, test, and Elk. It's a bummer for me too I thought they'd Whenever possible, I prefer to use old, dependable, and expensive products, such as G5 and Iron Will.
They fly great from my crossbow when I use these little broadheads. It appears that they have no negative impact on the flight of the bolt. Three of the three bolts on which they shot were.
The tips are within an inch or two of my usual practice tips, so I made no adjustments to my sight. My only complaint would be that there were no great blood trails on either deer at the beginning of the hunt. While neither of them went too far, there wasn't as much blood in the first 30 yards as I would have liked.
There aren't many better broadheads for the money, especially one that's as solid as this one. My field points are near the Trocars - there are four left at the moment. It's just a matter of making a slight adjustment to the x axis on my sight and I'm set. Despite their durability and sharpness, Broadsheads are durable. That's the truth, I have to As a result of the marketing and hype surrounding other broad heads, I occasionally admit to buying those. Though this scenario plays out every time, it is the same As I unpack them, I find they are as follows. You may shoot them a few times at my foam targets, before switching back to your Muzzy.
