I don't use it all that often! I believe it is too large and difficult, as it does not allow you to return.
I don't think it will because the mat has a good amount of grip on the bottom.
Avoid sliding by placing the power glid on a stable surface.
It's more of a firm support, but it's effective for sit-ups because it encourages the proper motion for maximum stomach muscle use. For bench pressing, this will most likely be too arched and firm.

This ab Mat is absolutely fantastic. I was a little hesitant after reading the negative reviews that said it was too hard and didn't have enough cushion, but I disagree. I think it's perfect, and you need that kind of back support to achieve the full range of motion. There's a noticeable difference between crunches done with this and crunches done without it; this gets the abs burning right away, and I'm very happy with my purchase. It has a very nice look to it, and the quality is excellent.

While one would expect the back to round during a sit up, this mat is so firm that it does not give at all, forcing the back to bend in the opposite direction! While some people may think this is good for their posture, it is terrible for sitting. ups.
I could have done more crunches with back support in the past, but this thing is amazing; you can move it around to support your lower back as needed while still getting a great workout!.
