8 inches in diameter
It doesn't seem to come with an illustrated exercise booklet, as far as I recall. There are, however, a slew of videos on YouTube that can help.
I'm not sure, but I've seen someone around 250 pounds use the Ab Wheel without difficulty.
Plastic isn't something I'd throw around, but it's sturdy enough for everyday use indoors.
Selected User Reviews For Body Glove Core & Toning AB Wheel
I chose this ab wheel over others for my boyfriend because he prefers BodyGlove. However, once it was put together, we were quickly disappointed to discover that the wheels were made of cheap plastic - both the "non-" and the "wheels" tracks to "skid" It's not what we expected based on the photos (at least there's no rubber on the tracks), and it feels more like a child's toy rolling around on the floor than exercise equipment. The handles, on the other hand, are excellent, and are made of a rubber/silicon material for a firm grip. The "Cancer and Reproductive Harm" WARNING label, which directed you to p65warnings, was the final straw for us. ca. We quickly stuffed it back into the box and returned it. We gave it a star because it's still a working ab wheel. br>br>.
It's of good quality, especially for the price, with a metal axle and grippy grips. The grips, which are simply slid on, hold the wheels in place, so it loses a star. I used spray adhesive to ensure the grips didn't rotate or creep off during use, which was not ideal but acceptable at this price. At a reasonable price, it's good enough.
This was simple to assemble and sturdy enough for my 200-pound frame. It's ideal for supporting my athletic endeavors, especially when combined with other core work. I purchased it because of the low price. Yes, a larger diameter wheel or knurled handles might be better, but for my purposes, they're not worth the extra money; in the extremely unlikely event that it breaks, I'd buy another one of these.
The product needs to be put together, but the pieces don't fit together well. The plastic handles rub against each other as you roll, creating plastic dust. At first, I didn't notice the Prop 65 warning, but the plastic dust everywhere makes me concerned. It's less expensive to keep than to deal with the hassle of a return, which is most likely what they want. If you require an ab wheel, look elsewhere.
This is exactly what I needed and matches the description. It's a beautiful color. It's a good idea to start with the fundamentals with this machine because you can do so much with it. I'm completely content.
It's old school and it works.
Core training tool that is simple to use but not simple to master. For "sitting breaks," I keep it near my desk.
It's simple to put together and it works well.
