This dumpy weight bar, which was 60" and about 2 ounces, was sold on Craigslist for about $250. The purchase has been made. Since you are seeking a 60" bar and not the Olympic size you are used to seeing in the gym, this may be the one. However, I find this bar to be very comfortable for my weight lifting at home as a 5'7 woman. I have not heard any complaints from my husband about using it. It may be a fine option, but keep in mind that it is smaller than the gym bar you can purchase on Amazon. You can also buy the gym bar on Amazon, but consider the price difference and house size. My first threaded edges are a first for me as well, so that is exciting to add to this bar. Currently I don't have any cons to mention, but if I find any I will certainly add them Among the Pros I really liked the packaging! There is no doubt about the meaning of this bar. The plate measures 5' long by 1" wide (fits standard plates - but not the "OLYMPIC PLATES"). The scale displayed a weight of about 12 pounds. You simply cannot find a better value for this sort of package. It was hard to find a place that could beat the price at a few local stores, such as Walmart, Academy, etc. And it was a solid piece of metal, so no one could beat the quality. In addition, there are a couple of other small items. I noticed a few small rough spots on the bar, as various people noted, but nothing that could pose a problem during use of the bar. I think it would be really comfortable to fit four people in it There are 6 plates, but since the manufacturer claims a total capacity of 250, you probably only need 3 of them. There is a slight slippage in the spinlock collars, so you will need to adjust them accordingly While you exercise, tighten the collars, and the plates will spin and the collars will loosen. I like doing bicep curls with it, so the swaying motion loosens the collars and the plates. In order to overcome that problem, I added a small rubber washer before attaching the plates to keep them more secure and to add some tension so that they wouldn't come off. After I take photos of that, I'll post them. Even though this is not completely necessary, the collars spin onto their wearers' heads so easily that it makes sense they will also loosen easily. *BR>*BR>USE THESE EACH DAY AS AN EXERCISE As it seems a little short for bench pressing, you might be better off looking for a 6' Olympic bar instead if you are looking to do serious chest exercises (200lbs+). I like it best for using for bicep curls, though, as it's perfect for lighter presses (*150lbs). There is a lot of benefit to overhead presses here as well. There is only one thing I would not recommend 100% It's easy for me to do hip thrusts when working my glutes but since it's only 1" thin, it digs in a bit if you load it In other words, it is a lot more versatile than one would expect.

To continue with compound movements, I got this barbell in order to start with this weight. There is a very tight fit on a squat rack with this equipment because it is only 5 feet long. It nonetheless is multifunctional, which is why I am thinking about getting an additional one so I will be able to include more plates without constantly changing It was easy to fit the 1 inch plastic weights from Walmart and the 1 inch metal weights from Walmart. The bar can be placed on the ground without a 1 inch hole, but you will have difficulty with the placement. The price is well worth it!.

It's a great barbell on the whole. While the price definitely went up compared to what my wife purchased it for, during these times we were able to save a lot There is nothing less you can expect when you have 19 times the amount of hits. In spite of that, I was glad to get one while there was still some remaining. I did not have any complaints about the price since it got sold out quickly after I purchased it. In spite of the dirty barbell and the heavy weight, the bar is still pointing upwards. clamps on the barbell are the only negative thing I have to say. Weight loss is extremely slow when a person changes weights, spending off the weights and spending the weight back on. As for me, if you use it for classes, rattling and shaking of the weights will loosen the clamps over time. It would be necessary to tighten them every now and then. To remedy this situation, you might want to consider getting new clamps that are easy to apply and remove. But other than that, I'm glad I got to buy it.

Despite the fact that I like this bar for my small home gym, I do have problems with the threaded collars coming loose at times, which can be quite The majority of the time, I just have to tighten them in between each set, but a few times I've had to stop the lift in the middle of an exercise to retighten so the weight won't fall. There may be a need to buy different collars for them so that I don't have to do this all the time.
