The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't fit enough weight. When I say this, I will sound like one of "those guys. " For those that use bumper plates, I am not able to fit more than three 45 pound plates on each side. I just wanted to share this info with you. It is certain that conventional weights will allow you to fit more weight on there. The bar does its job and I'm happy with my purchase. Otherwise, it is a good purchase.

I find it to be a monstrous machine This is not an attractive design due to the slipshod finish, but it is highly functional due to the deep, strong knurling on the As an extra measure of strength and insurance, we have thickened the welds like we did in welding shop. There is no crack in any of it it's solid as a rock. You're getting a lot of value for your money with this. There are likely to be some people who are put off by the silver paint finish, but for me, I plan to paint mine black and get started right away.

The money I spent was not worth it In my opinion, this 100 dollar paper weight is worthless at the moment. This bar was initially very exciting to me. However, due to some imperfections, I found this bar to be of no use. The Olympic style plates are intended to be slid over the bar. The side of the bar I can't put plates on is because there are some quality control issues. A side of the bars has plates that fit perfectly, while the other has plates that only go half way down. One of the ends of the bar appears to have a larger diameter than the other. It hasn't worked with any other brand, such as rouge bumpers and CAP's traditions plates. It's always the same issue over both plates. Investing the extra 30 to 50 dollars in a quality bar will be well worth the cost. This even if you plan to use it just periodically for a change of pace in the deadlift workout.
