In the case of noise, that would mean it squeaks. The answer is It no longer does that after I sprayed some oil into the ends. The answer to your question is "Yes," if you mean that it rattles. It rattles and clangs, as it is made up of metal on metal, just like most weight lifting equipment. Thank you for taking the time to read!
The weight was approximately 15 pounds.
Clips were included with the bar that I bought at Amazon. There were a few weights that I already owned. There are a lot of Olympic plates to choose from on Amazon, but I recommend the Gold's Gym 50-pound Olympic plates. The weights are two five-pound ones and two five-pound ones A pound weight is 100 pounds. A good price was offered to me for them.
My 2" weights will fit as they are 2" in diameter

The black, heavy thing is big, heavy, and black. There's something wrong with that. The only complaint I have is that it only works when it's picked Although I stare at it constantly, that doesn't seem to do anything for me or make me feel like "Strong Like Bull". Additionally, it doesn't even come with blue tooth capabilities. What the heck.
I absolutely wasted my money on this. It looks like a child painted it with leftover craft paint with a 3 year old's help. There's a lack of grip on the bar thanks to the Bearings and races are not included in the collars, so there is a great deal of side-to-side movement and looseness. The unit is being returned for a full refund. You should not waste your time or money on this rubbish.
The bar was difficult to find, so I kept it because it was so hard at the time to purchase one. I am still recovering from the injuries caused by tiny, hard to detect pieces of metal in two months and two weeks. (have to rip the skin on one occasion because I dug too deep)* Please note that this photo was taken after the third time I was injured, and another metal piece dropped from a bar as I was shaking it vertically to see if anything would come In response to my request for a replacement, the customer service rep simply said they would not offer a replacement to me and wished me well. The quality control is not mentioned and the injury is not mentioned either. It was not my intention to be compensated or rewarded, but simply to be able to replace the bar with metal pieces that are potentially dangerous. Please purchase at your own risk, but I would drop a few extra dollars if I could get something safer, better, and better. Unless I am forced to, I will never purchase another Cap product.
place to have a drink. On the dot, it weighs 15lbs. PROS
Executive Summary. *Price* - This is the right amount of knurling, not too rough and not too soft - It looks good in black
- You can curl, do skullcrushers, upright rows, and overhead extensions with the arms rotating enough to do those exercises. I think shipping damaged it a little. A fresh coat of oil was applied upon arrival. You should clean off the surface before using it. The cons are According to the advertisement, I never received any clamps. Generally speaking, I highly recommend this bar, even for the price. You can buy a better bar for 3x or 4x this price, without a doubt. It is hard to find a better bar at this price!.
In a nutshell, My job is to own a gym, so I am always looking for ways to save money by cutting out the middle man for equipment and research. I purchased and installed these bars without having to inform any sales person of my "desired solution" (I apologize to business buyers and business sales managers). The perfect match.
There are some issues with the rotating bars at the end. There is +/- 1 degree between them In total, there are two inches of travel off axis at the very end of the bar (a little less than half an inch). Even though the locking rings/bar clamps that come with the kit secure the weight adequately, a bolt does poke through the rotating bars, scratching and scraping them. This is a neat looking bar, however please note that the paint will scratch off on the rotating bars over time, which I believe takes away from the aesthetics It would have been nice to have the chrome bar, but $10 more would have been cheaper. They need to improve the endcaps on their packaging as mine were damaged and had a hole big enough to stick three fingers in. The bolt for one of the locking rings had apparently fallen out of one of the end caps since only one was present. My order was pretty satisfactory aside from the need to order a new set of bar clamps, which I was already planning to order anyway. For the price, this is one of the best sub $50 bars.
As long as I do not hear back from Customs it will stay at 1 Star. I received a replacement from Cap on 18 February. After some back and forth (all positive), they are going to send one as well. In the event that I receive a replacement, I will update this page,.
I own a lot of Cap equipment, and this is the best Cap barbell I have ever What I have known for a long time is confirmed by other reviews There is a lack of consistency in the quality of Caps' products. Nevertheless, my EZ Curl bar is exactly what I wanted and needed. I find it to be helpful - There is just enough room for the sleeves to move, and the bend on the bar This is a good buy if you're going to do triceps extensions or curl variations. I would say that it is not of the same quality as a more expensive product, but nonetheless I find it satisfactory. As they say, it gets the job done. *I have a few things to nitpick, so listen to what I have to say *** *** - There are a lot of collars that come with it, and they are difficult to use. Faster and lighter, spring collars are a great alternative. They are available for purchase and you can attach the screw collars with them. It's extremely rough on the knurling on my bar Sets that are too heavy can cause injuries to your skin. If you fail to tape your grip, then be prepared to suffer. It has a little cheap chroming on it If the chrome flakes off the bar due to rough handling, it will need to be replaced. All of these issues are expected with Cap products, so you should prepare for them and this bar will do just fine. I've had no problems with it. I have balanced Cap barbells before, and will test the balance as soon as I receive the bar. If you set it on a sawhorse, and balance it right in the center of the bar, you should find it stays mostly level most of the time. Send it back and order another one if it does not fit. I just wanted to let you know that my Cap EZ Curl bar is perfectly balanced.
