It isn't my area of expertise. There are 20 inch dumbell handles on these. It is impossible for me to curl 200 or more pounds with just one hand! They are solid and well-made. It may be possible to lift that much weight if your frame is strong enough.

I really like the quality of this product and how fast it arrived. These are extremely durable and will last for an extended period of time. While the dumbbells can hold up to 300 pounds, they are also extremely reassuring since this capacity is beyond what I'll ever need. I highly recommend this book! They are only problematic if you load them with heavier plates, such as 45s, and perform chest presses, as they are difficult to use in a range of motion. Aside from that, I really like them!.
It's basically a short barbell that should be stable enough for any intermediate lifter since they are short versions of standard barbells. It may be cumbersome to perform certain movements (like supinated standing curls) however, the space saving features and precision weight adjustments (with micro plates, not included) more than make up for the hassle of using this product. A set of extra screws was included in the package I assume that there are down collars on the ends to prevent heavier weights from sliding off. Once you become strong enough so that these dumbbells become obsolete, then you can probably use that sweet World's Strongest Man money to get a proper set of dumbbells.
