What happens if you use it inside? Does it leave scuff marks on the floor? Do you want to stay put?

It is non-scratching on the floor. The yellow bars are made out of a tough plastic. It will stay in place as long as your feet do not come into contact with the straps that connect the bars. If something goes wrong, you can easily straighten it out by pulling an end bar toward you.

This was precisely what I was looking for. It's extra long and incredibly inexpensive! I work with Parkinson's patients and other elderly people to improve their motor and agility skills. I cut off the clips so they wouldn't be a tripping hazard, and the ladder is slightly bowed, so I make sure to put that side down, but I love having my own ladder so I don't have to go to the gym to borrow one!.
