We've had a lot of fun using this kit to start working on agility training with our kids. I bought it to help me get over some minor stumbling blocks. That and the ladder were requested by my husband, but I decided to upgrade to this set because of the parachute. And it did not let me down! My children (6, 8, and 10) all loved it. Running sprints with it in the park has been a lot of fun (and a great workout). We also make extensive use of the ladder. The ladder is one area where I would like to see improvements. Because the rungs move around, I recommend tying knots, wrapping the canvas twice through the hole, or stitching to keep them in place. I haven't done this to our ladder yet, but I will most likely do so because my kids (and occasionally myself) muck it up when we train. If you're really good about not snagging the rungs, this won't be an issue for you, but my kids and I both do it when we're tired! Fortunately, the ladder is made of soft materials (plastic and canvas), making it safe for even small children to use and a lot of fun. The small hurdles are also great for kids and can be adjusted in height to fit your needs. Overall, I'm very pleased with this kit, and I hope we'll be able to put it to good use in the future. I strongly suggest it. and would make a wonderful present (perhaps even for a difficult-to-buy-for person). shop- (Intended for teenagers).
When I first started looking for a new set for training, I never considered whether or not assembly was required. The ladder came with pegs and a rope, but it wasn't put together and is quite flimsy. Because there is nothing to secure the pegs to the rope, it pulls everything out when you use it or trip over a peg. This ladder is a highlight of the set, but it is not at all durable. Everything else works fine, but don't count on using the ladder.
I'm eager to get rid of my holiday weight. This kit includes a wide range of conditioning drills. br>It's ideal for quick foot drills to use the ladder. Obstacle course and high knees drills are possible with the cones and hurdles. br>I intend to use this to train kids in baseball and basketball agility. br>I found some workout videos on YouTube that include ladder drills as well. br>Overall, it appears to be a fun way to exercise. br>I haven't tried the parachute yet.
This kit is fantastic. I made a video of our soccer drill and uploaded it to YouTube. Great kit that we plan to use with our 7-year-old as well as our own workouts. It has a wide range of products.
Covid- We're spending more time indoors in 2019, and this is a great way to stay in shape right in your own backyard.
The nylon parachutes do not withstand repeated use. While I really want to like this set because it assisted in the creation of a fantastic backyard training course for the family, I just can't. The parachute isn't very durable; I got it for Christmas and it ripped the first time I used it. They replaced the item, and we went to use the parachute again, but the nylon had ripped after the second use.
These training aids aren't particularly heavy, but they aren't designed to be. My son (varsity soccer player in high school) and daughter (college soccer player) both use these for training and enjoy them. They don't use all of them all of the time, but they have them on hand when they do. After a few months of use, there have been no issues with durability or complaints.
This was purchased for my grandson, who participates in a variety of sports in middle school and is about to begin his freshman year of high school. He's one of his team's best players, and he's asked me to get him this for Christmas. He's been using it on a daily basis to assist him in his football drills. The resistance parachute is one of his favorite things. He's getting a lot of use, and his Nana is very pleased with the quality and price; I'd recommend it to any football player.
