Nonetheless, I adore it!
Selected User Reviews For Fitbit Inspire Fitness Tracker, One Size (S and L Bands Included)
But I went ahead and did it anyway. On September 27th, I received my Inspire (regular). It hasn't needed to be charged in 5 days. I suppose I'm one of the fortunate few? I did, however, turn off text notifications because I almost always have my phone in my hand. It's possible that this is why the battery isn't draining. The band was causing rashes and other problems, according to the crowd. My recommendation is that you don't wear it too tight. It dims too quickly, according to some users. Is it possible to look more quickly? Looking at your information and keeping it moving takes only a few seconds. If you just want to look at your numbers, open the app because it syncs them anyway. People complained that the charger was too short, but since you're not going to be wearing the tracker while it's charging, it's irrelevant. People have complained about having to count ghost steps; will a few ghost steps here and there kill you? My point is that it's a tracker, it works (at least for me), it's stylish, it's light, and I like it.
I'm a senior who prefers to keep things simple, and I adore the Inspire's design, feel, and functionality. It's convenient to be able to wear it on my wrist or with a clip. (I bought both the black and pink versions, knowing that this would become a regular part of my wardrobe. ) ) It's simple, sleek, and very reliable, as is typical of Fit Bit products. It's also a great price!.
I've now attempted to sync this piece of garbage about 50 times. I'm using the dongle that came with my Fitbit One: This is ineffective. Even when I put the Inspire right up against the dongle, it won't sync. YES, I've gone through all of the troubleshooting steps. Fitbit appears to have released this with the knowledge that it would not sync, based on the other reviews. I'd like a refund of my funds. br>br>I purchased the Inspire on the first day it was available. Despite the fact that my old Fitbit One always synced with my computer without a hitch, the Inspire refuses to do so. I've tried it a dozen times, followed the troubleshooting instructions, etc. , and I honestly feel like I've been taken advantage of. I adored my Fitbit One, but it was accidentally washed and no longer held a charge - It was inconvenient for me to have to charge it twice or even three times a day. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please.
It was my fault for not reading the fine print closely enough, but the $70 was well worth it. Your heart rate is not monitored in the 00 version. br>br>Now that I think about it, it seems obvious, but I was in a rush. Both versions, I believe, monitor heart rate, but only the $100 version does so. Since that's the main reason I ordered it, I'm guessing this Fitbit will end up in a drawer, costing me another $70. 00 is no longer an option. br>br>In exchange for your seventy dollars, you get a rather unattractive watch and a suite of apps that don't do anything that an app on your iPhone can't already do.
This is the one - The Inspire, which I bought with a clip to replace my broken Fitbit (which wouldn't charge), is a colossal flop. It works, but unlike the Fitbit, which I charged once a week, it loses all functionality after two or three days and needs to be recharged. It also doesn't follow the stairwell. So, in my opinion, it's a colossal failure to replace the Fitbit that's no longer available! br>br>I've replaced it with a product that does more, has a usable app, and only needs to be charged every other week for a third of the price - even the Fitbit one is superior In a nutshell, take a look around and don't buy anything from fFtbit until you've seen what they're up against - Overall, it's much better now, and it's a lot cheaper!.
However, the product appears to be of high quality. Many of us find the steps font to be far too small. Fitbit will lose a large number of customers who would like to use it but are unable to do so. I'm hoping that a software update will fix the problem. I also hope they add the ability to control the display order, but this isn't a must-have feature. I'll go back and buy a Garmin if the steps font can't be enlarged.
I was dissatisfied with the Inspire because all I wanted it to do was track my steps. It took a long time to break up the band. It took a lot of force to get it to snap through the punch hole, and even then it didn't always work. Every time I moved my hand, it would record steps (and I did select dominant to deal with the sensitivity issue, as per online help) - I could add 10 or more steps by simply waving my hand back and forth. This is in direct contradiction to what the online help says about the few extra steps that may be recorded. As a result, the number of steps I took in a day was always a concern. I also discovered that my stationary bike workouts were not being recorded. Since my hip replacements, I've been riding it for tens of miles every day. I couldn't find a way to manually add the activity in the Inspire on-line app if there was one. And, after looking for help on the internet, I discovered the Fitbit model's limitations. Spinning, for example, is a menu option on more expensive Fitbits that can be used to simulate stationary bike exercise. Unfortunately, this was not an option on the menu for the Inspire I was using. At $80. Given the difficulty I was having with it, 00 was an excessive amount of money. It didn't appeal to me to spend more money on a fancier Fitbit with an easier-to-close band. So I gave it back.
It's narrower and more stylish than my Garmin Vivofit, which I really like. I like that it's easy to charge (cord included) and only needs to be charged once a week! I like that it's a watch with a date and a lot of other useful features. I'm still figuring out how to get the most out of it! Only the way the band fastens is something I might change. It appears to be safe, but I am concerned that I will misplace it. (As you can see in the photo) Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!.
