Last time I had a rubber bar that gave a little when gripped, it was soft and forgiving. It left painful red welts on my hands the one and only time I used it because the rubber on it is not soft or smooth. It is put to quite a bit of pressure because I always use it for lat pulldowns. I like that the chairs are heavy, well built, and comfortable in the hand. My concern was the rust on the swivel inside and the chipping in the chrome. After I contacted their customer service, they were quick to follow up. was surprised that they would take the time. There is a lot of weight to both pieces and they seem Since both gloves have knurling, they give me a great grip, so I always wear gloves while lifting. One complaint I have is that when I first started using the bar, my rotating clip was not moving smoothly around it. As soon as it was dry, I sprayed it with WD-40 After I had put 40 on, I drenched it in WD- 40 for a few minutes and it has helped a bit I washed all the rust out with 40 and that removed a lot of it. As a result, it is now rotating with much greater smoothness.

If you train triceps and biceps in your home gym, you should have this piece in your arsenal. I am very pleased with this. This training arm is what my wife and I use all the time. My profession is that of a fabricator and a body builder. A number of the pieces of equipment I designed and made in my gym have multiple functions and are made from heavier gauge materials. My initial plan was to design and fabricate this piece, but for the price of this V handle, it seemed worth it to take Heavy, well crafted, solid welds, comfortable, looks like professional gym equipment. The piece seems well constructed and heavy. The most impressive thing I have ever seen.

It had jagged edges of the chrome finish on the non rubber parts. I had to send it back. The rubber handles are too dangerous to use as handles, as it would cut my hands if I used anything other.
