It's amazing how much strength this tricep rope provides. You know what I am going to tell those who gave bad reviews because the rope is too short? Your fault. You should have done your homework and taken measurements to ensure the rope was the right length for you instead of winging it and blaming the manufacturer for the shortness. A rope of any length can be bought with this product. Other people claim theirs smells like mine does not. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.

There were egregiously rickety parts on this ride, and it was NOT smooth! The grip made LOUD, high pitched squeaking noises when being pulled. As you pulled the cable, the pulley was inefficient, and as you pulled, the whole thing would violently shake (a lot of up and down movement). By the way, the pulley and cable would also get very hot after a few sets, based on the friction, I assume? The water is hot enough to burn your hand if you touch it. The joke is on me! There are no limits to how much you can load on this, but if you load more than 70 pounds, it would become impossible to pull due to friction with In a way, it was like this thing was fighting against you. It was returned for a SYL cable pulley system that I really can't believe how awesome it I love the smoothness of it. Commercial gym pulleys are not as effective as these. In order to do back and chest exercises, I suspect I should add a second pulley system. You should stay away from this piece of garbage. In its current state, it lacks any redeeming qualities.

It's a good product, the tricep rope is good for basic triceps, but some of the things I was hoping to do with it are hard to do because the length of the rope is so long. I pull the rope flush against my forehead when I perform Facepulls, and the shorter length of the tricep pushdowns lock me in against my body when I perform Tricep Pushdowns. As well, the plastic ends are very uncomfortable and hurt my hands when I rest them on them while moving. The rope is too short for my needs. If I had known this prior to buying it, I would probably have gone for.

A one star review I read here states it is very loud and that its pulley does not glide smoothly, so it works against you. The same thing occurred to me right out of the box and I We just need to spray some WD40 in the pulley and it'll work perfectly well. Certainly, it should be oiled up before shipping, but other reviewers should have thought about it as well.

A rope of this size and weight is typically about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and the rubber ends are very This is fantastic for doing triceps work, biceps work, etc. My only caution would be to be careful doing face pulls, as the rubber ends are heavy and could knock you out if you get full of the Spirit and start pounding out shoulder exercises! My AC/DC music was cranked and I was ready for a great workout, but I was psyched out I would have a good workout but I forgot to separate the rope at the end of the move! Those of you who are calculating, are meticulous about form, or just happen to be coordinated will love this rope attachment for.

The change makes me feel out of sorts. Because it resembles the gym's equipment so well, I wrote my name on it with a paint marker so they wouldn't think I had stolen anything from them. It doesn't feel too heavy in my gym bag and I don't have to wait around for people to complete their sets, so you get fantastic value for your money.

There are a lot of them. As a result, I bought this pulley system because I wanted to include a cable system of some sort in my workout. I attached it to my power tower, loaded some plates, and performed 5 nice sets of tricep pressdowns and reverse pressdowns. You can feel the love instantly. I then tried doing overhead rope tricep extensions, but that was a mistake. After that, the whole thing fell over on a (thankfully shatterproof mirror), and those were the end of them. As an alternative, I went back up with rope press downs. Taking a lesson from the experience. The only way I think you could do them is with a fairly heavy person standing on the back supports, but no way can you do them The only time I've worked out with them was after the initial workout, but if it doesn't fall There is a lot to look forward to. My favorite workout equipment is dumbbells, bars, bands and cables, and I now have access to them. I am very pleased with the results.
