Depending on your body build, it may or may not work. In addition to being 5'6", I'm also 140 pounds. You will have to use the pin that is in the center of the bike to fold it. In the center there is a small ring that you need to remove before folding. Put the pin into the first hole to keep it folded when moving the bike to another location. Then you can insert it in the second hole and you're ready to ride. Just pull the pin out and place it in the second hole. My guess is it took me quite a while to figure that out lol.

The oldest person in my family is 72 years old My husband and I did the assembly ourselves after first reading all the reviews and then making a decision to purchase the product. Prop 65 is mentioned as well as "cancer and reproductive" issues. I am assuming that this is in reference to the material of the seats. So I will probably always wear pants while riding this bike. While I was enjoying a bike ride on April 25, some of my right pedals snapped right off of the bike! Finally, I was so sad, as I had been feeling so good after doing something so healthy for me. In fact, the bike broke on the night of April 25, which was the deadline to get product assistance. This is my hope - that someone will see it and get in touch. The duct tape did not work for me because I'm not wealthy I cannot buy a new bike. This was of no use to me. There was a problem with the bike. Can you help?.
I'm in love with 69 years old is my old age after putting all this together in a few minutes. There is a great deal of quiet in here. used it in my living room, which is not a big room, and it looks great there. It is comfortable and easy to use. I can wear it while I watch TV and get a little exercise. My wife loved it, and I got it at a really good price. While the seat is a little high for me, I put it all the way down without tightening the knob, and it works great. I'm 5 feet 1 inch tall so I think the seat will be stable. Being a novice when it comes to exercise equipment, I am not familiar with many of the brands, but this works well for me. I recommend this to anyone who has been considering getting a treadmill for their home. My apologies for leaving out the fact that it arrived two.

It is quiet, smooth, sturdy, and it is compact.
