  I bought it to try to replicate the Peloton bike experience on a *much* lower budget. So far, I've ridden about a dozen times and am very pleased. It was simple to assemble and feels hefty and solid. It appears to fit me well (I'm 5'9"), is *quiet*, and rides smoothly. Because I have an Android phone and the Peloton app doesn't have much functionality on Android, I bought a blue tooth cadence sensor and found a used iPad mini 2 to run the iOS version of the Peloton app. The bike seat is wide and comfortable, and the resistance is consistent and easy to adjust; it's also a plus (in my opinion) that the LCD display only requires two AAA batteries - There is no need for electricity. I've got it set up in the garage for the time being, but when it gets too cold out there this winter, I'll bring it inside. Sound is included in the video I've included. to demonstrate how quiet it is (the chirping you may hear is caused by crickets outside, not the bike). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: br>br>EDITED TO ADD: I'd like to point out that Pooboo's customer service is outstanding. I had a problem with one of the pedals (I'm pretty sure we didn't screw the pedal into the crank perfectly when we put the bike together, resulting in crossthreading that wasn't noticeable at first but eventually caused the pedal to twist and come out). I emailed customer service, and they responded within hours, saying they would send me a replacement crank for free, as well as a video on how to replace it. I was cast in the role - originating in China! My bike was fixed in less than a week, and they even included a new pedal, so it's as good as new.

Despite the poor, even nonsensical instructions, the bike arrived quickly and was very simple to put together. The bike is sturdy and quiet to ride. It'll do. br>br>I noticed a few negative reviews about the pedals stripping or falling off. When putting pedals on a bike, it's important to thread them correctly. It's obvious that some people are irritated - Threading is a term used to describe the process of weaving That isn't to say the pedals aren't good: they aren't. They're simple, and the toe clips are made of low-cost plastic. They were functional, but I prefer clipless pedals, so I swapped them out. Some people are unhappy with their seats. br>br> I've never bought a bike that didn't require me to replace the saddle, even if it cost $1200. I slid on one of my favorite mountain bike saddles, and it's perfect. I'm not looking for one with a lot of padding - a waste of time br>br>Even though the computer is a budget model, the pulse reading matches my high-end monitor. br>br>A flyer for a free device and app to connect with my phone was included in the bike materials. Great! I emailed the address as directed, and someone named Nancy informed me that it is a free app that I can download and try for seven days. I replied that I was not interested in developing an app - She wrote back, saying the app wouldn't be ready for another three weeks and asking if I could wait. Oh well. There's no need for an app at this point. On Amazon, I paid $21 for a bluetooth cadence monitor. Finally, Nancy stated in her email that they would give me a $20 gift card for a 5-day stay at their hotel. a 5-star rating Not okay. That would explain why there are so many 5-star reviews. reviews of 5 stars.

So I knew I needed a bike with less impact, and this bike is ideal. During my research, I knew I wanted magnetic resistance so I wouldn't have to replace anything in the future, and I adore this feature. Due to the magnets, the bike is also extremely quiet (there is no constant rubbing like on other models), and you can't tell anyone is riding it. The bike's design is also appealing to me - The blue accents, in my opinion, are a nice touch. The only two issues I have are minor. br>br> The seat wasn't the most comfortable, but it wasn't terrible, so I went to Walmart and bought a new bike seat, which we have much more enjoyed. The second issue is that the calorie counter does not appear to be as accurate as what I can find on the internet. Following a 30-minute bike ride with an average speed of 12 miles per hour, At 15 mph, I would have expected to see something 200-300 feet away (based on Google results). It's supposed to be 300, but it's usually around 145. br>br>I was hesitant to give up running, but this bike provides a workout that is nearly as good as my runs, so I'm happy!.

It took about 30 minutes to put together and was relatively simple. I really like how quiet the bike is. It's safe to ride it next to a sleeping baby because it won't wake them up. Because I can turn the resistance knob ten times, I count one full turn as ten on the resistance in the Peloton app. Although this bike does not have a cadence sensor, the beat of each song is usually close to what the instructors want you to hit. I have two drawbacks. br>br> I wish the speed metric on the display was in RPMs (I believe it's in miles per hour), and the pedals were a little shaky at first (especially the left one). On my rides, I had to carry a wrench with me at all times and tighten them up. It even fell off on my first ride! I believe the threading is extremely precise, and after a few tries, I was able to line it up perfectly; I still have the wrench, but it no longer wobbles and is securely fastened.
