Questions & Answers

If you slam the ball down, will it bounce? Will a lunge throw bounce back up to catch it if you throw it to the ground?

The ball was not made to bounce. It's a soft, cushion-like ball that's mostly used for wall exercises or throwing between people.

What exactly is the size of the 20-pound ball? Is there any way to find out how big it is?

The diameter of the wall ball is roughly 15".

What Is It and How Big Is It?

It's a standard wall ball size; I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but it's the same as all of the xtraining equipment wallballs I have. So, look up those measurements and you'll see what I mean.

Why is it that a 6 ball is more expensive than an 8 ball?

It's like the difference between buying a pound of turkey and 15 pounds of turkey, in my opinion. I'm guessing the additional material costs more, which is passed on to the customer.

This is a great addition to my home gym
5/5

First and foremost, allow me to state something. Those who are complaining about the "poor quality" of this WALL ball and are posting proof pictures and the like because it fell apart after being used as a SLAM ball, well, that is your problem. It's a WALL ball, in case you didn't notice. intended for tossing with others, up in the air and catching, or tossing to hit a target on a wall - not a SLAM ball designed to be used for full-body powered slams against a floor! As with all WALL ball sellers/manufacturers, the seller/manufacturer expressly states that this is NOT intended for slamming. br>br>Now that that's out of the way, I think this will make a great addition to my exercise ball collection (traditional medicine balls, slam balls, and so on). It's a good size, weight, and feel, and it gives me a good upper-body and core workout. This is something I would strongly suggest.

Medicine balls are, in general, a cost-effective and low-maintenance option. An in-depth look at the impact option for an in-depth look at the impact option strength, home – fitness program that is based on science. Aside from a built-in workout area, home-based businesses don't have much to offer in terms of amenities. Medicine balls do not require jumping (as do jump ropes or agility ladders), pounding (as do battle ropes – which require at least a 30-second hold), or any other type of ground-based exercise. space for your feet - Heavy equipment (such as benches and free weights) or aerobic machines br>br>Due to the size of this ball, an individual workout can be done with just a clean, solid, 4x4 open wall space as a "partner. " " It's ideal for one-person use. " Exercises on the walls Partner work is also an option – and a lot of fun – especially if you pair up with your adolescent child. My 13- year- My five-year-old son enjoys throwing this medicine ball with me for a strenuous five-minute workout (approximately 300 throws). I can do chest or shoulder throws against the wall (the "slam" part of the description) if he isn't available. ) Due to its synthetic cover, which becomes softer as the throws heat up the surface, the weight is heavy and firm, with a pliable grip. br>br>This ball is larger than the previous one.

It feels good, but finding the right weight is never easy
4/5

This medicine ball is fine; if yours "exploded," remember that it is not a slam ball, so don't slam it on the ground! It's fine to throw it against a wall (hence the term "wall-toss"). ball! It's fine to use it as a weight for various exercises, and it's fine to play catch with a partner; just don't slam it on the ground, because it's not a slam ball! It's a mystery to those who are trying to figure out what weight medicine ball to get. Most, if not all, online recommendations say to go to a gym and find out, but I don't want to pay monthly gym membership fees, so I'm buying a medicine ball for my home! Another suggestion can be found on the internet. True, it depends on what you do with it, but a point of reference would be far more useful! So, I'm going to try it out. This ten-pound medicine ball was purchased primarily for use in catch with my son. I am a 55-year-old woman with a 5-foot-nine-inch height. Bench 6 reps of 150 lbs at 8" and 168 lbs. My son is thirteen years old and stands five feet tall. 6'135 lbs with 10 reps of 70 lbs on the bench. Playing catch with my son and tossing the medicine ball in the air about 12 times each, the ball is a little too heavy for him and a little too light for me. But that's fine; my son can still handle that 10 pound weight, albeit slightly heavier than ideal, but he can grow into it, and he can also toss it against the wall by himself; all in all, that 10 pound weight is appropriate for him. I consider it a good warm-up for me. I'm also getting a true slam ball, which I'll be able to slam against the concrete by myself. I ordered a 20-pound slam ball, which is probably a little heavier than I can handle, but it will allow me to do some heavy slams while also allowing me to "grow" into it. br>br>One feature of these wall balls/medicine balls that I dislike is the lacing, which is present on all of them as far as I can tell. They're useless to me because I don't try to sense it or grasp it like a football. What's more, when you catch the ball, those laces tend to dig into your hands because the 20 ball coming at you isn't a light football, which is inconvenient! Even the seams where the stitching meets can be a pain, especially when the seams on this wall ball/medicine ball stick outwards, causing the same irritation as the lacing.

Failed

Take a look for yourself. It lasted about 6 months after I purchased it for Crossfit-style workouts. It's designed to be used as a wall ball in a moderate way. Should've been able to keep it together a little better. I had hoped to get more mileage out of it. The fabric held up well even though the seams blew apart.

A CrossFit-related product

From 6 to 40, we use this brand in our CrossFit gym. I have a 20-year-old 20-year-old 20-year-old Since 2015, I have been the owner. All of them are of high standard. Initially, a few of the 40 balls began to leak sand, but this has since stopped. I'd buy more if I could, and I intend to do so.

So far, everything has gone well! So far, everything has gone well
5/5

I had never heard of the company before, but after reading the positive reviews (and the low price when compared to dynamax), I decided to give them a try. They're still in great shape after a few months in my personal training studio! So far, I've been very pleased. If you're used to dynamax-style bounceback after slams, you'll notice that these balls bounce a lot more. Especially with the 10 pound ball. It resembles a basketball in appearance. But, once again, I'm very happy with them! I'll be ordering more in the future.
