It resembles a medicine ball rather than a basketball. No matter how hard you slam it, the amount of bounce is kept to a minimum, as it should be.

Leg lifts are performed with a 15-pound weighted ball held between my calves. As a result, I appreciate that it has some "deflation," making it less difficult to play than a basketball. Second, the grip texture is soft enough that my calves are not hurt. Finally, when comparing different weight balls, you'll notice that some feel uneven or move around inside. This ball does not; the weight feels like it belongs to the ball and does not shift. If I had to suggest a change, I would suggest that it be made a little smaller because I use it for leg lifts and prefer my feet to be closer together.
I'm pleased with my purchase, and I anticipate many years of enjoyment. After receiving a 15lb ball, my wife requested that I get her a 10lb and 5lb ball for her workouts (she has MS), and both of these have proven to be effective. The balls have a textured surface that aids in gripping. You'll discover that these work out muscles you didn't even know you had.
It's not a medicine ball; it's a slam ball. Make sure you don't mix them up. There is sand in a slam ball. This is a fantastic ball that appears to be well-made and which I have enjoyed using thus far.
It's my first time owning a slam ball. It appears that the ball has been well constructed. It's been about a month since I got it, and I haven't had any issues with it. In about three days, I'll update my post. 4 months. It's an excellent way to incorporate both cardio and strength training into your routine.
Keep a firm grip on the situation. It is simple to use. When thrown hard, it bounces a little, so it's best for slam ball and Russian Twists.
That is all there is to it.
These slam balls are really nice. I've placed an order for four of these for my home gym. 10 pounds, 12 pounds, 20 pounds, and 30 pounds are the weights available. It's of good quality and doesn't bounce much.
