I bought these gloves on June 29, but they have only lasted approximately two months. This glove is used six days a week for weight lifting. Weights that are moderately heavy. At first, they seemed like a great team. The grip and cushion on these shoes are great. As well as the wrist support, it's an excellent feature. They started falling apart after heavy use. The rubber grips have lost their coating and are falling apart. The finger area has threads coming out as well. You should not expect them to last very long, but they are good gloves. It is absolutely perfect. When going downhill, I use my palms to control my descent with breaking or making a controlled stop. Even after an entire week of wearing these gloves and wheeling around for over a dozen hours per day in a hot environment, there were no signs of wear. My sunglasses still look brand new, even after more than a month since I bought them. There is a thick gel pad on the palm / inside of the thumb, but this does not affect your ability to use the device in any other way. With them on, I could still eat, write, handle sports equipment, etc. They also have a little extra padding at the base of the fingers, which is just what I needed as I wheeled I was able to relieve a lot of stress on my hands because of this.
