normally wait until I've worn something several times before writing a review, but with these tights I had to get out of the norm. There is no room for error with these. In my case, I wear large underwear, so I went up one size, as is standard with The fit of these is better than the tights from 2XU. The uppers fit snugly around the waist, the seat is more spacious (though there is no bulge in the middle). It has a soft waistband and a draw cord for getting them on and off. In the crotch, you do feel a bit compressed, but you can find a comfortable location for your manly bits if you adjust a bit. I think that compression is appropriate for the knee region, especially from a performance perspective.
